Another very good Carhartt product
Tall - 5' 11 1/2 152lbs. 31-32 waist, I purchased a medium and it fits great, it can be tucked in, just might not stay tucked if your moving around alot. I have many pcs. of Carhartt clothing and this is another good addition, well made and should last for years to come. The thumb loops are something new to me and may come in handy when pulling a hoodie or sweatshirt over top of this baselayer and I say this looks very nice on it's own over a t-shirt. It is medium weight and warm under a hoodie or jacket. My one con is, the wool is only in the front panel, no back no arms, not a deal breaker for me, it's still warm enough. I have washed it once and it may have shrunk alittle, but I'm not even sure it did at all.

Best Baselayer
I don't write many reviews, but I've been impressed with Carhartt on this one. The Carhartt Force base layer shirts are comfortable and warm.Weight: I own two heavy, and two midweight shirts and these are my favorites for layering in colder weather. Choosing either will depend on the temperature, how much layering you like to do, and your personal thermostat.Cost: These are a bit pricy for a base layer, but worth the cost IMO. The heavier shirt is about $5 more, but the additional insulation far exceeds this modest cost difference. If you can get these on clearance, buy a couple.Feel & Material: This is a poly blend, so no texture issues like some wool fabrics, but will still wick better than cotton. This material has a soft and warm feel.Appearance & Features: The quarter-zip makes this easy to don and to vent a bit when needed. The thumb loops in the sleeves help with keeping the sleeves extended when adding layers. The pocket is unique for a base layer, but comes in handy I've used the pocket on occasion for small items when wearing it around the house. The pocket also lends a bit of style if you end up wearing this shirt alone, or after peeling off the other layers.

Well made!
These are a little pricey, but the quality is spot on. So if you value quality I don’t think you can go wrong with this base layer. Zipper is longer than I would like and the percentage of wool could be higher, but I would still buy again. Been through the wash 4 times and has held up well.

Good
My husband bought this and he absolutely likes it. It is comfy and lightweight. It is also good quality but the only complaint is that it get lots of fuzzies all over it.

WARM AND COZY
bought this for my hubby over the winter and he finds it very warm. It looks like a very good fit - true to size and it keeps him warm while working outside.it washes well, dries quickly (clothes line!) and looks good afterwards. Although a bit pricey worth it as long as it lasts a few years!

Not shirt but sizing is way off
Thai is a nice shirt with a comfortable material, but the sizing is so far off I had to return it. I understand that a base layer should fit tighter than a normal long sleeve tshirt, but this is beyond tight.I normally wear an XL in Carhartt long sleeve tshirts and 2XL in hoodies. I ordered this on a 2XL, but it was absolutely skin tight. It was even too tight to wear as a base layer. If ut is designed to be worn as a tight base layer, I’m not sure why it has a 1/4 zipper.Size up about 3-4 sizes for this to fit.

Comfortable but what is it really?
Was looking for a decent base layer and stumbled across this for a good price. It's certainly comfortable and a really nice looking shirt. So that brings me to its identity crisis of what is this shirt? It's a base layer but it's also a nice shirt you could wear as casual wear too. I totally could see myself wearing this to church yet I'm likely to have it on under a light jacket for chilly days out in the woods. The zipper pocket is really nice but for a base layer.... oddly placed. So still not sure this shirt is actually a base layer but will certainly be a great warm layer.
