Exactly what I was looking for....
I don't know much about mattress protectors but I knew I wanted something waterproof since I have a toddler and something that was similar to the ones I was replacing. The ones I had were a requirement from the furniture store I bought them from and I felt like they were good quality & served their purpose well. That being said I was hesitant to replace them because there are so many types to choose from. I picked these and absolutely love them. They look, feel, & fit very similar to the ones I replaced which was the goal. Hope they hold up as well as my old ones, these will be my go-to if they do.

Mattress cover worth the cost.
After several hours of research I found this mattress cover which met all my requirements: it is well-made and well-reviewed; soft, quiet and comfortable to sleep on; not a topper but a cover, so it easily fits into the washer (cold water regular cycle) and dryer (low temp); the price was reasonable and delivery reliable. A faint initial odor vanished after washing. I can’t comment on dust-mite protection as the mattress is encased in a zippered cover, nor on water-proof as it hasn’t been tested, but it does have a bottom layer that looks waterproof. I plan to buy more as needed for other beds in my home.

Perfect!
Most mattress protectors make the actual mattress uncomfortable and crinkle sounds. But this one is the opposite!It's thin, doesn't make sound and I still enjoy the comfort of the mattress! I washed it and was able to tumble dry the protector just fine. I got the twin xl and it fits my mattress perfectly! Really happy with this product.
