4711 for Unisex - 2.5 oz Body Spray

I have been using this for years while living in Germany.. Thank goodness I can buy it via Amazon...wonderful crisp summer scent.. Very refreshing.

I bought this because my Mom always wore it and I loved the scent. She recently passed away, so it was a nostalgic purchase for me. The only negative is, it isn't a spray and the scent doesn't last. I still love it because it reminds me of her.

Very nice neutral unisex scent . Not at all over powering like some. Great scent and this small spray canister lasts forever.

I purchased the 3.4 oz. Bottle just to try it out. I received it today, the smell is awesome however it doesn’t last very long. I tested it on my arm and it dissipated after 20 minutes. I took a shower and applied moisturizer on my neck and used 30 sprays and it boosted it. 3 hours later I can still smell it faintly. It is definitely a summer scent so this should perform a little better with the help of a moisturizer but very clean, fresh, and citrusy. Kinda smells like a lemon scented dusting spray without the chemical smell really good scent.

4711 is the original cologne that's been around for ages. I would call it a citrus based cologne, great for year round but even better for spring to late summer. The spray cologne has been said to last longer and be stronger than the cologne bottles themselves for some reason, never having smelled the latter (this is my first 4711) I can not say the accuracy of that statement.With that said, I keep this in the car and in the golf bag. Great to stay fresh on the go and definitely non-offensive scent. Can be used for casual to professional setting, although more leaning towards the former. Tom Ford makes a similarly colored fragrance for A LOT more money, it's been said that his popular fragrance is based off of this cologne. This is very true, although the Tom Ford version does smell much more elegant and well blended (for a $200 bottle it should).I also keep this in the golf bag which not only makes me smell great on the course, but if the bugs get out, the citrus on this cologne keeps them at bay. You can spray this on skin liberally without offending those around you.

I wanted to really like this fragrance. I did my homework, read reviews etc. I splashed this on and ew, not so much. I'm 62 and all I could think of was my mom's cupboard of Jean Nate. I splashed some more - let's be patient ... still nope and the fragrance was gone - longevity was zero. Even as an ODT ...should have lasted more than an hour. I loved this fragrance when I was younger, so glad to have found it again on Amazon, it smells just as I remembered!
