Not quite as effective as I thought it would be.
I wonder how much variance there is among the installed towbars because it doesn’t fit as well as I thought it would. Also be aware that the cover does not go all the way around the bar at the bottom. That means that snow and road salts can get up in there and in fact, probably make more problems than if left uncovered since it will be hard for it to dry out if it remains covered. I was a little disappointed about that. I also had hoped it would cover the locks I have on instead of pins to hold the bar on the car. I will see how long this lasts, as I suspect the cover and the elastic straps may not hold up under UV rays.

Great looking cover for the towbar. Purchased as a replacement, as the old one was a bit worn. This fit perfectly and looks good.
