Another “par for the course” DK release: Excellent photography, meticulous research, fun and concise reading with a team of people to put it all together. Impressive work.Excellent book for learning about creative people, their work and the process.

For a person who is not an artist per se, this is a very interesting book with concise snippets about everything. I would say the only negative thing would be regarding the layout, some of the pictures cross the centre of the book, so you cannot appreciate the picture as a whole, instead of having the pictures on a single page. An ideal gift !!

Maravilhoso! É uma pena que não tenham colocado sobre Van Gogh e tampouco sobre Claude Debussy. Mas é lindo de qualquer forma.

Very reader friendly

Textbooks are expensive thats no surprise. I bought this book for my art inspiration and to learn more. The colours are extremely vidid and true to the original. Very informative and I’ve learned alot already.
