I love it
There's a wide variety of colours. 4 wax pieces give a good spread.Very good for the price. It also came with a few envelopes, 2 metallic markers and some fine gold glitter. Very satisfying to use.I just wish there were more seal options but I indepently bought a seal with removable heads and they work fine with the wax.

This is a great starter kit for beginners!
This comes with everything you need to start learning how to make wax seals. I had never done them before and this kit made it super easy to learn. The stamp is very detailed so I worried about it not turning out but it has come out perfectly every time. The metallic pens don't dry fast so be sure to blot it gently with some paper towel or tissue if you are going to be handling it. Only complaint is that the tea light candles are super thin so they burn out fast. Overall, this is a very well though out starter kit. It is the perfect gift for the crafty person in your life.

Excellent for gifting and for creating gifts!
This wax seal stamp kit is one of my favorite purchases, and it definitely goes a long way. It comes with almost everything you need to use wax seals with the exception of matches and proper cards (more on this in a moment). I think it's a great price for all that comes in the package. The only cons: I didn't find the envelopes useful. One, they're oddly long, and there's no paper or accompanying cards. The colors are very difficult to match with something randomly and are not the most attractive. Basically, one suggested change: different color and size of envelopes and matching cards or paper. It's just a little strange to have the weird envelopes and nothing to go with them. I ended up not being able to use the ones in my kit, so....yeah.On a more positive note, after my purchase, I also bought different wax seal designs, more metallic pens in different colors, and other kinds of wax (though I definitely prefer the beads after trying the sticks, because the sticks are pretty messy) and have used them again and again on cards for special events, such as birthdays and weddings.Adding a wax seal to a gift or to an envelope adds a special, unique touch. I've loved using these and seeing how the seals look with different color combinations. I also love choosing special designs based on events or things people enjoy so that they know that a lot of thought went into everything. This is also a wonderful gift idea, and it's an unexpected gift. In addition, if you have kids or teens who are old enough, helping them create some wax seal designs on cards they'd like to mail would be super fun. I think it's a wonderful idea!Highly recommended! I have recommended this or similar when people ask me for gift ideas for loved ones who are creative and artistic, and typically the gift is very well received.

Wonderful
This set is wonderful and it allowed me to up my wax seal game. Super easy to use and had a good variety of colors to choose from. I used it to seal letters I mailed to a friend in boot camp, everyone enjoyed it. The wax was able to hold up nicely through the mail with minimal damage.

Great and easy to use!
Perfect for beginners interested in the hobby since you have many color combos and it makes sending letters fun! Just be prepared to have your own candles, we did one session with 2 seals and when we tried to use one of the tea lights again, it fizzled in 10 seconds. So if you continue making many since there's so many colors, you can't rely only on the tea lights they provide!

TIPS & CAUTION!
I Purchased this kit both to use the wax seals to actually seal envelopes, but also in the hopes of turning them into stickers, and magnets. Both of which I was able to do.Besides purchasing this kit I also purchased a Dreamcatcher wax seal, a silicone mold that came with sticky dots (for turning them into stickers). sticky magnets. and an extra 20 pack of metallic pins. All of which I Purchased on Amazon. This kit was great though because it had all of the tools necessary to start off.If you are not putting them directly on the item, like an envelope, wax paper works great! I wasn’t sure how well that would work, or if I would like the silicone mold better. They both have their plus and minuses. The silicon mold keeps it in a condensed area, so the seals are thicker. However, I actually prefer the free-flowing way the wax spreads out on the wax paper better. They are thinner though then with the silicon mold ones.Weirdly this kit does not come with any kind of direction whatsoever! And it’s not rocket science or anything, but it would definitely help to know how many pieces of wax are necessary to make a wax seal! I had to just play around with it to find out. Two pieces is not enough for their tree of life seal. You will need at least three pieces. Some I even used four pieces with to have that extra free flow affect that it gave when using the wax paper. I also used four pieces on all of my Dreamcatcher molds, which were slightly larger than the tree of life mold. Here is where the words of CAUTION come in to play. When I was melting my wax I noticed how the wood/metal spoon it’s melted in has metal going part way up the handle. I knew to keep my fingers away from the metal part of the spoon. However, when I just finished pouring some wax, and was rushing to switch the spoon out of my right hand, and grab the wax seal, my pointer finger slipped upwards and I burnt my pointer finger bad! That part of the metal is hot enough for severe burns within a second! And I even knew better and yet it still happened to me. So if you are making these with children I do not recommend letting them do the wax pouring part. Using the wax seal immediately following, would be better for a child to do. You do not have to push down hard with the seal. Just a little light pressure and then you can let go of it and let it cool for a minute, before trying to pull it off of the wax. OH, and before I forget I found it very helpful to sit my wax seals on a frozen cold pack in between using it. It helps the seal come back off the wax easier. I did not use any kind of nonstick spray like I saw some people recommend. So this kit came with a gold and a silver metallic pin. I did purchase 20 other colors. However, I like the way a lot of them came out just using the silver or gold. As you’ll notice some of my wax seals have up to four different colors of wax. So some look so beautiful it only needed a little touch of gold here or there, especially on the tree ones. I did use more colors on some of my other seals just to switch things up, and make a lot of different ones.Someone told me they purchased a wax seal kit, and all their wax seals broke into tons of pieces in the mail. And they were all inside of other envelopes. So I was wondering how easy these would break. I literally tried dropping one on the floor to see what would happen, and nothing! Lol Then I found out something else especially helpful! I did not like the way a few of mine turned out. Especially the ones I did early on where I didn’t use enough pieces of wax. So I became curious if I could melt those back down and make another one. I am happy to report they can be melted down over and over again! In order to put one of the seals that was already made back in the tiny spoon, I had to try to break it into pieces. So I discovered even furthermore that it does not break! I had to rip them into little pieces like I was ripping up plastic. So there must be something in the ingredients of this wax that gives it a stronger plastic texture. Either way I was happy to remelt my duds and make them into prettier seals.I hope all this info helps. I wish I knew it all before I started! And I did not get paid, or given anything for my review! Lol Happy Wax Seal Making!!
