A beautiful art collection with valuable tips on how to observe and appreciate the smaller things in life while allowing them to inspire you. But the most important lesson it teaches is probably not to overthink art and simply to revel in the process - something I am always glad to be reminded of. A pleasure to look at and a book with personality! And it feels warm, like sunshine. That said, I found it just the tiniest bit repetitive.

Magical, fantastical, dreamlike, sublime book! Lifts the heart and raises spirits. Brilliant ideas, Love how the artist explains her craft (incl colour palette) with much warmth & accessibility. Love the dayglo stars on the cover, which I only discovered when I turned the light on. Everything about this book is well considered and thoughtfully designed. Buy & have yr faith in artistry heightened!

This book was beautifully written and the artwork is amazing. A book that will taken down to read and look through for many years to come.

ich bin Grafikerin und somit auch selbst kreativ tätig. Dieses Buch ist ganz wunderschön gemacht und nimmt den Leser mit auf eine kreative Reise. Beatrice Blue zeigt wie sie Ideen findet und wie sie diese umsetzt, wie Illustrationen entstehen und welche Materialien sie einsetzt für die Umsetzung Ihrer grossartigen Artworks.Absolute Kaufempfehlung. Meine 15jährige Enkelin fand es : Meeeeega cool:-)

Illustrazioni bellissime e l’idea della copertina che si illumina al buio è molto bella, ma mi aspettavo qualcosa di più. Il libro è una sorta di autobiografia artistica dell’illustratrice, in cui parla solo del suo processo creativo. Niente idee di ispirazione, nè storia, nè spunti di apprendimento. Sono un po’ delusa. Si salva solo per le illustrazioni magnifiche.
