GatesBar-B-Q Sauce (Original Classic - 40 Oz. Bottle)

Received it fast. Good by date is over a year away. Fresh! If you haven't tried it, this is some of Kansas City's best BBQ sauce.

Liked the taste. Like the fact that it is a 40 ounce bottle. Can be used on burgers, ribs, fries, chicken. Not a real thick sauce but very tasty.

If you like KC style barbecue sauce this is one of the originals.

I grew up in this area and I'm so supersized I found this online!! My childhood memories came rushing back when I poured it on my grilled steak and let it seep in. I remember the red and black tiles in the kitchen and heavy long lines! The smell in the air of the meat they cooked with perfection. The smokey taste of Gates is like no other you've had and it's a dang shame I couldn't get their food to go with it! I can tell you this right now it's one of the best you'll get on here and the normal commercial cheap crap is nothing compared to them.

Have loved this spicy BBQ sauce since I first tasted it many years ago. When I lived in the KC area would go to Gates to buy barbeque. Now that we live many miles away have to order it through Amazon to get it.

After seeing this item on America's Test Kitchen I decided to try it. I purchased the original not the "hot". The original was so hot and spicy it seemed to me that the hot and spicy was put in the original bottle. This will be thrown away.
