Great deal
I bought this a few months ago to replace a headset I'd been gaming with off and on since at least 2011. I found this renewed headset and pulled the trigger on it. Overall, I am very satisfied. My friends in discord noticed the immediate improvement in the output quality (apparently I sound like a Radio DJ now) and I can't compliment the comfort and battery life enough. I am a commercial helicopter pilot and I wear a Bose A20 headset pretty much all day at work. After a long day flying, coming home and putting on another headset used to be a pain in my ass, but this is nearly as comfortable as my $1,250 Bose aviation headset.Sound quality and surround sound is excellent, zero complaints.Mic output is excellent, it picks up my voice but not my TV when I have it on.Comfort, 8.5/10 easy.Battery life is pretty good. I haven't had it die while playing, but I've definitely gone several days using it while gaming and talking for hours on end without charging it.Range is awesome, too. I can stay connected when I step out back for a cigarette or go into my garage for a beer.Overall I am very satisfied and would recommend. My only real complaint was getting the headset. When I got it, it was relatively clean but there were places where it wasn't. I, being semi-germophobic because humans are disgusting, scrubbed the whole headset diligently with alcohol wipes before using it. Aside from that, zero problems. If you're on the fence and reading this review, I would say it is worth the money. It feels sturdy and as long as you take care of it I can't see why it would give you any issues; just like anything else.

Kind everything?
I've been using wired G430's I bought from walmart. My wife broke the first pair, I bought another. Didn't know anything about anything else and definitely no complaints. Kids jumping in my lap, dog tripping on my wired cords was getting very aggravating. Everyone wants to be around my computer apparently. I started looking for wireless headphones and spent all day at work + all time at work to hunt, review, 3rd party review, youtube video for a good pair of wireless. I first ordered the steel series Arctis 1 --- Highest ratings; I had weird balance issues -- One speaker was louder than the other. I LOVED these headphones as my first order. Wired optional was awesome for my sound card to get more sound out of them.I returned them and replaced then. Same sound balance issues. I then wanted to snag a deal on some of these renewed options knowing I can return them if they are bad and save a ton of my money. I ordered the Flight X Cloud - Optional wired with wireless. I received the Flight X S --- Who's complaining about receiving a free upgrade right? Sound was very balanced, but very low volume, no wired option and the 7.1 surround option was absolutely horrible. Running them in regular stereo was actually decent.Still disappointed, I saw these Razer's. Reviews said they were kinda... 4/5.. Lots of bad things about them. Even on youtube. I found them for 129 out of $180 so I thought I would again give them a try.WOW. I'm not sure who is reviewing these for the low ratings but the sound quality on just Stereo was incredible. More importantly for the kids and wife screaming at everything, I can barely hear anything. This alone made them worth it. I use wired audio to a dedicated sound card and knew wireless would be trash, but these things sound like my THX speakers.I haven't used the MIC - I didn't need these for the MIC but I heard they are bar none the best. No balance issues - Beautiful acoustic noice canceling. Headset looks like its made of badass materials, honestly its very comfortable but I wouldn't say its just out of this world comfortable.Average guy very impressed who just wanted to buy the better "high" quality reviewed headphones... I would buy this again and again. Maybe I got the good version, but I'm tired of returning headphones and was just too surprised by how good this one was for the price.

An excellent wireless headset plagued by crappy software
Buying refurbished products is a crap-shoot. Often, refurbished is buying someone else's problem. However, as was the case of the refurbished Razer BlackShark Pro headset I received, it can be a win-win situation. The headset arrived in pristine condition. It looked and sounded like a brand-new headset. The headset itself is a mixed bag. I love the design of the headset. It's extremely light and comfortable, especially for a wireless headset. I can wear it for hours at a time with no discomfort at all.One thing about wireless headsets you must understand is that the sound quality is never going to be as good as a wired headset because of the bandwidth limitations of wireless equipment. That said, the Razer BlackShark Pro sounds better than most wireless headsets I've tried. Just don't expect it to be as good as a good wired headset because it isn't. I also own a Razer BlackShark V2X headset, which is the wired version of this headset, and it sounds a lot better than this wireless version and is a lot cheaper. One flaw in this otherwise excellent headset is its range, which is abysmal. This headset can barely reach 15 feet without cutting out and losing signal. I won't be returning the headset for this, but I understand why some might. The other main problem with this headset to me is Razer's Synapse software that you must use to set this headset up, along with the THX surround software it comes with. This software is confusing, buggy, and sub-par for the headset. The THX surround program sounds horrible and needs a complete re-write, in my opinion. I have a Sound Blaster X-3 sound processor/DAC with its associated SXFI surround software that blows the THX software away, but unfortunately it cannot be used with the Razer wireless headset. The Sound Blaster X-3 sounds better in every respect and gives me much more control over my sound than the Razer software drivers can possibly do.In conclusion, I'll keep this refurbed Razer BlackShark Pro headset because, in the times I need a wireless headset, it does an adequate job and is a well-built piece of gear, albeit with major limitations because of its horrible software driver.
