This is card stock paper
The stencils work very well, but they do not last. Being card stock, the stencils get saturated and break after a few uses. I liked the end results, but I wish they had been made of a stronger material.

Should fit my needs, I thought they were metallic but they are thicker card stock.

Flimsy Cardboard. Not Acrylic! Not really meant to be used repeatedly
Description of product is misleading. It says the material is "acrylic". But it feels and acts more like cardboard. While It did worked for the kit I was working on, don't expect to be able to clean it and use it repeatedly. If you try to clean it with even just water, it will warp. Works okay but not really reusable

Very Cool and useful stencil set.
These are made from cardboard so When you first get them I suggest using a Lacquer Based or a Polyurethane clear coat on them. Spray it in light coats letting it dry in between. I did 8 coats on mine. After it dries you're ready to roll.

Incorrect description
Your description says the template is acrylic but it’s actually card stock. Very misleading, this should no be on Amazon.

the thing is not worth the money
i have never bought a piece of cardboard for 10 dollars 4x4 inches .. yes. beautiful packaging .. beautiful advertising .. i thought it was a brass stencil .. and this is quite a good price for it .. but it is cardboard .. which is soaked after the first painting .. this is a one-time item ..
