At 5'8", not my favourite for a seated lounger.
At 5'8" I cannot recline my back as much as I would due to the middle bar portion. If I were shorter, this would not be a problem. I love that I am partially in the water. The fact that it is adjustable to a full flat surface is nice. This is what we will use this for as the seated aspect does not make it my favourite lounger.

Best for a pool!
Very comfortable to rest on. However, you cannot control where you are going. I tried using a paddle and this only sent me in circles, very quickly! No time to paddle on other side to straighten out direction. You could not sit up and straddle the air mattress, as it is too wide. I was using it on a lake. I quickly found out I had no control of it. There is a spot to tie a rope to it, but it is at the foot end of the mattress, so you cannot grab onto it to pull you in the direction you wish to go. Great for a pool, but be careful if you are on a lake.
