Samsung Galaxy A12 SIM Free Android Smartphone Blue (UK Version)

I have had this phone for over a week now and I have to say I am very pleased with it. I nearly didn't buy this phone on the strength of one reviewer stating they had issues with broadband dropping. Touch wood I haven't had any such issues so far.On the downside I was led to believe by one reviewer that the phone should take almost any SIM as it had 3 sizes for the SIM slot. This is baloney. It has TWO sim slots and they are both the same size (nano). The 3rd slot is for a micro sd card. Suffice to say my old sim didn't fit and I had to order a replacement from my phone provider.Several reviewers remarked on the excellent battery life and on this I completely agree. I think I have only charged it up once since just over a week ago. I am, to be fair, a light user but even so I am impressed. It is, of course, early days though. I remember my iPad battery life was quite good in the beginning only for it to tale off somewhat in time.It did take a while to work out how to do what I did on my previous phone, for instance you have to access apps by swiping up rather than across. Settings is a bit different too. I'm really impressed with the fingerprint recognition, it works really well. Haven't tried face recognition based on the fact that some reviewers said it didn't cope so well with glasses.All in all I think this is a great phone for the price. Certainly beats forking out hundreds more for an iPhone.

Bought this phone for a relative and they love it.They're used to the old school phones so it took a bit of getting used to but only as they're not confident with technology however they got the hang of it very quicklyIt's a good size phone and has a decent camera to get average photos withColours are nice and the battery lasts a good amount of time - i.e a day with standard usage. if you're using it for video calls etc and the screen is always on then it won't last as longcan't complain and happy with the purchase!

Arrived quickly, easy set up, no problems so far. Does everything I want, good camera.

Took a chance with this during amazon prime days. Worth it. Kids stay away from my phone now. Good graphics for their games. Not as fast as latest models but kids did not feel a difference. Well worth the money. Good wireless connection. Downloads are fast amd memory seems good. No issues so far. Sturdy aswell as kids have dropped it a few times. Although bought a all round cover so that may have helped. If your looking for low cost but effective and user friendly smart phone I highly recommend this one.

Refusing to sign up to mobile operators 2 year phone upgrade plans, and while there is plenty of choices of phones that offer greater performance/camera/features, then to be honest this was the best cost option for replacing my old S8 whose battery life was starting to fade. At £117 then this was a good cost effective solution and it does everything my S8 can do, but now with an extended battery life. The screen is very clear and the camera is fine for what I use it for. I also installed a 128gb micro storage card so hopefully the phone will not run out space over the next few years. All in all a good phone and perfect replacement for my S8. The Smart Switch app also made easy work for copying everything over from my old S8 to new S12 phone

I bought this camera as a second phone to use alongside my 40 month old HuaWei Pro P20. For the money it is an astonishingly good phone which I now use instead of the HuaWei. It has superb battery life, works flawlessly and is an immeasurably more intuitive piece of kit. Don't take any notice of any nit-picking reviewers who have given poor reviews because my experience in no way is like theirs. It is now my main phone with the old one relegated to second place

Bought as a replacement for an old LG phone whose battery had seen better days, the A12 highlights the difference in phones over the last 4 years. Bigger and better screen, much better battery life, 3-4 days depending on use, and much faster. I'm using fingerprint recognition, which works well enough, though it's proving a bit too easy to muck it up by accidentally touching the sensor with the wrong finger when picking it up. All in all a good buy and good value at the price.

I chose this phone because of the storage, couldn't do anything on my old phone, had to delete absolutely everything, in the end even the photos. This phone is great, I can actually install all the apps I always wanted. And the battery life is very good. It is a bit bigger and heavier than I would have liked but I'm getting used to it.The main criticism I have is that when I first tried to use it, there was something very badly wrong with it - it simply wouldn't work using the touchscreen, I had to end up banging it hundreds of times to get it to do anything - I got in touch with the helpline, was going to send it back as it was so faulty, but a very kind person talked me through deleting everything I had finally managed to do after millions of attempts and restoring it to factory settings - that finally worked!!!! But what a palaver 😠 I wonder if this has happened to anyone else? It's been ok ever since, a few niggles and doesn't seem as good as my old phone but I've got used to it now.
