Q: Where do you get a new filter screen and seal? The pump doesn’t come with either.

Complete in-tank fuel pump assemblies (like the 67991) include the strainer pre-installed on the pump inlet, they are ready to go for installation. However, if you are disassembling the fuel pump assembly currently installed in your tank, and wish to replace only the pump that is contained within it, then you need to purchase a new strainer to go along with your new pump. You will then install both in your existing assembly, replacing the old pump and strainer. There is a LOT of confusion out there on this, Bosch needs to do a better job explaining to buyers that fuel pump assemblies are COMPLETE with strainer, whereas fuel pumps alone do not include the strainer. Hope this helps someone out!
