Goya, Malta Loose, 12-Ounce (24 Pack)

Like the malted taste a good substitute for soda!

I’m giving it a 5 star because Malta is Delicious I grew up drinking it and one of my kids is addicted to Malta Lol. When I first found it on Amazon Price was approximately $24 give or take I don’t remember exactly but what I do know is that I ordered 2 cases one was fine the 2 nd destroyed I called Amazon and they notified the company and so I was suppose to get a replacement or credit back that Never happened so disappointed. My son asked me to please try again so I was going to try to place another order through a seller and the prices was ridiculous $60 for a case. Really what? No I just now looked again and now it is like $46 Why Why Why is it so expensive. I will never buy it again until I can get it back to the price I originally paid for the first two cases. Sellers drop those prices or no one will buy unless there wealthy!

Never got drunk, that is a good thing. Anyways there is plenty CO2 available, so add a little more just a touch, is almost flat (that is why 3 stars and not 4*!)The flavor so is right on, good job on that. The *additives ..like white lettering on tires- you can do without.Did get a refund for the 6 ( and a cool plastic-basket from the post office..they might want back).Whished you could buy this stuff at a store here in CA.

I love Malta! Since I was raised in Northwest Louisiana, it's not like this is anything I grew up with ... far from it. In fact, I had it for the first time yesterday. My reaction? "Where have you been all my life?" There's not a load of carbonation, and the sweetness is definitely there, but it's a sort of molasses-type sweetness, a little bit dark and mysterious. There's barley and hops, like beer, but it's not fermented, so the 'bite' isn't there. There's malt, but not in a 'malted milk' sort of way but rather in an earthy broadness of flavor. This stuff is so good with food ... particularly Caribbean food, which is not surprising, since I had it in a Dominican cafe! I'll definitely be having this again, and I'll be keeping an eye out for it in stores ... shipping costs on soft drinks are exorbitant!

What can I say? It's Goya.

Like the taste! Some people don't. Definitely high in sugar don't buy if diabetic!
