This wash REALLY does work. Eliminates all odors, even mildew. Leaves various fabrics nice and clean and NO perfumey smell etc. like from other soaps.I've used it for hand wash and in the washing machine. Highly recommended for all camping gear.

We have a lot of athletic clothing (workout, soccer, ski) including some special order soccer uniforms that we use this Sport Wash exclusively to wash. The clothes always come clean without stains, scent, or the need for an addition stain remover product. I'm a repeat buyer and have reviewed this on my blog.

I used to buy this sport wash at Walmart but they stopped selling it so now I go to Amazon. This sport wash is very effective on fleece, down, GoreTex and any other outerwear which needs protection from the elements. It does a good job and is easy to use. Also it is more reasonably priced than other sport wash brands.

If you own UnderArmour, or similar products, you know that after a while they build up a phantom odor in the, uh, more sweat inclined areas. Sure, you wash them and they seem clean and good to go, but as soon as you heat them back up (from the dryer or by wearing them for a bit) the odor comes back. No regular detergent seems able to defeat the Phantom.This stuff does. Yeah, it's made for hunters, and it takes the "UV shine" out of your clothes too...whatever, it removes the Phantom Odor from your UnderArmour, and you don't have to use it every time. Use it once, then wait till the odor builds up again...and you only use a small amount of this Sport Wash in each load, so it's pretty economical.

Seem to wash the running clothes pretty well, but the sweat smell lingers when you wear them again. I have decided to use this with regular detergent.

I'm pretty sure I've tried every type of sport wash out there. This stuff hands down is the winner. If you've got some seriously smelly clothes, try using the HOT setting when washing. Seems like the hotter the water the better it does at getting smells out. 95% of the time, this stuff gets the smell out in one wash, but you're guaranteed to get the smell out after two.

Did not work on sweaty, stinky baseball caps (they're still stinky after 2 thorough hand-washes in this stuff followed by extra rinses), and the Sport Wash itself smells like old fish when you open the bottle.
