This is an enjoyable resin with a mild candy-like odor that does not intensify during curing. It has a good, long work time. It cures clear but not to lens-like clarity. It does not become very hard, although therefore can (for instance) be polished with mere Simichrome polish and Sunshine cloths. Note it does not like to release all its bubbles in a vacuum chamber device. Some may just sit there. And I recommend heating parts A and B (perhaps to about 80F) before mixing them. This action makes a big difference in viscosity and therefore in whether or not bubbles will rise after pouring.

It worked brilliantly for what I wanted it for

Wanted to try epoxy resin...never had used it prior .... Ordered this kit & I couldn't be more pleased! Measured the hardener in one cup and the resin in another then poured the resin into the hardener. Stir for the full 5 mins. Started my small tray paint poured practice project...the resin poured easily and no bubbles at all. Covered & Dried overnite. Crystal clear and hard surface. Going to try and add another layer and do the tray sides to finish it up. Only con...had to use different mix cups..the ones in the kit are very tiny... For me as a very beginner this kit was awesome!

I got this product for my daughter it was working really great. She didn’t used it for couple of months after that when she tried to create crafts it never become so hard and smooth as before. And it they combine a plastic tray which this product that would be good.

First off, I'm no expert with resin. In fact, I've never used it before. We bought this for a school project and following the instructions was super easy. The end result was exactly as we had hoped for. For the experts, I cannot comment on shine, clarity and all that stuff. However, soon after pouring it, I flexed the display a bit to try and create a ripple effect in the resin to make the "water" more realistic, which kind of worked. So don't judge clarity by my photos. As a first time, uneducated user, I highly recommend this product.
