I purchased this reference book to learn about the amphibians of the Middle East. This book is set up like its American equivalents, which makes it easy to use for us Americans. The pictures, maps, tables, etc. are easy to read and understand. The only thing wanting, which could be a difficult task, would be a table or list of species by region - whether it be by continent or country. Trying to pick put which species are in just the Middle East is a bit difficult. However, there is enough information that I could construct my own list. Definitely would buy again.

Very good photography with the important features of each subject detailed in the description box.The habitat and location found is very useful in searching for species overlap and further details on breeding.A very valuable pocket reference packed with useful information.
