One of the best purchases in my life. I had a fantastic time completing the puzzle. It was a big challenge that took a while, but in the end, it was worth it and its up in my room today.

This puzzle arrived in a timely manner and was in perfect condition. I can't wait to start this beast. :D

4 years to finish 1/4 of it. My goal at this point is to finish it before I die lol ( im 40).

It took me almost nine months to find a puzzle to purchase at a reasonable price. I am happy with this choice. The pieces are a bit small but i guess its relative to the actual size. It is way easier than I expected once the pieces are sorted. Any puzzle lover will have great time with this one.

Puzzle size is 6’5” x 9’2” so you need a large table. Puzzle is packed in 4 bags 4500 pieces in each bag.I’m disappointed I’m missing 2 pieces.I felt the puzzle wasn’t overly challenging a fun puzzle to do.I would recommend this puzzle sturdy and the pieces stay connected well.

I have been doing puzzles for years and this puzzle , like all Ravensburger puzzles, is great quality. The 18240 pieces also provide many hours of puzzling! It is split up into 4 bags so that you can work one quarter of the puzzle at a time if you want to which makes it much more manageable as far as space goes (I like this since I don't have a 6'x9' space to commit to a puzzle in progress) or you can mix them all together.

I bought this for my Mother in Law because she loves puzzles and I wanted to buy her a puzzle that was very big and super hard to complete. Not disappointed. Bought it as a joke and it didn't let me down lol.

Last year I did Ravenburger’s 3000 piece Oceanic Wonder and enjoyed it. I wanted a bigger challenge this year and also didn’t want to keep spending money on puzzles. I got this just after Thanksgiving for $76.49, and think it will keep me busy at least 2 winters. I like the picture, and the cost per piece (about four tenths of a penny per piece).I’ve completed section B, the upper right, and will soon start on section D, the lower right. Obviously, it was a lot of work and sorting, being 4,560 pieces per section. It also needed a good bit of room, as one section is still 54.5 by 38 inches.I had issues with pieces seeming to fit where they didn’t, which hasn’t been an issue on previous Ravensburger puzzles I’ve done. The pieces also had a bit of a loose fit, which made picking up even a few pieces put together to move often fail. Always realize that a piece might appear to be correct but isn’t. I’ve had pieces connected on three sides only to realize later is was the wrong piece. The puzzle pieces repeat twice left to right per section, so after about halfway, one can double check the piece is correct by shape if the matching piece is already in place.Still, it was a lot of fun, and the shape variety helped some. It was also possible on most pieces to tell if it was vertical or horizontal for direction based on the width. I started by sorting all the pieces by color as best I could. I then worked each color one at a time, resorting over and over again to make smaller piles, to find pieces that were sorted incorrectly, etc. I had probably 700 to 1000 pieces laid out in boxes, based on the color I was currently working and anything “left over” from sorted piles I previously worked. In this way I could look at the pieces but they weren’t all laid out taking tons of extra space.My advice for anyone considering: Each bag is 4,560 pieces so unless you mix the bags it’s like four separate puzzles, but with the border on only 2 sides instead of 4 for each. Still a huge puzzle, but it doesn’t feel like 18,000 (really 18,240) if doing a section at a time.I also had good luck working smaller section on a piece of cardboard I could move. The puzzle was in the basement but I did the lions and rocks on cardboard separately in the family room and then transferred them. This helped with trying to be with my family while still working on the puzzle.I’ve used 3M 568 Positionable Mounting Adhesive to mount the section onto 2 foam boards. Then I will have my wood board cleared off and ready to start the next section while having store the completed sections in 2 pieces under a bed.EDIT: I finished Section D in just under 6 weeks, from late January to early March. After doing both B and D the giraffes were the most difficult and frustrating, for sure. I even found a couple pieces of grass that were switched at the bottom of section B when I tried to line it up with Section D.EDIT #2: I started Section C on December 19, 2015 and finished Section A on February 13, 2016. I ended up with one missing piece, I easily might have lost it and don't hold it against Ravensburger. It's been done for several months now and is in the 4 sections under a bed, I don't know what, if anything, I'll do with it.
