Love it!
Why someone didn't tell me that gel is WAY better for curls than mousse, I don't know, but here we are a 21 yr old just now discovering this well known fact. Yeah, we won't talk about my intelligence.And for the price? Oh yeah, I'll be ordering more for sure :)BUT THIS PRODUCT IS GREAT. I love the smell, the fact that my frizz is contained and the curls aren't crunchy...yes, yes, we're very happy right now.

Great smell
I have curly hair and this product helps me with my frizz. It has an amazing smell and it does't leave my hair hard. The only bad thing about it is that it is a little runny.

Great overall
The scent is like, tropical citrus. Light and fresh. I really like it. This does not feel crunch but it holds my curls really well. It definitely helps with hold and frizz. I have between 2b and 3a curls and this mixed with a leave in really works great.

Terrible flash dry and straw hair
As soon as I applied this gel I got horrendous flash dry that sucked all the moisture out of my hair. It felt awful. I tried adding more water, but my hair still felt awful. I let it dry and it did give me great definition, but my hair was crispy, even after I scrunched out the crunch. It felt dry and even sounded dry as straw. I had to wash again the next day and deep condition, but it still feels dry.It did smell nice, but I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone.

When your hair just won’t cooperate
I absolutely love the scent. I am transitioning to natural hair. I have been struggling trying to find something that would lay my edges and hair. I wear my hair pulled back so it needs to be sleek. I purchased twice and it really does the trick for my hair. I really enjoy my look.

Very good product that works well on naturally curly hair!
I changed from another curly hair styling product because of an increase in price and change in the product formula. I have been very pleased with Shea Frizz Control Styling Gel. It has a fantastic hold and you only need to use a very small amount of it to get a good hold. It is also perfect if you are the type who lets your curls air dry. I rated it lower on the moisturizing aspect because it is really not designed to do that; however, Shea also makes a fantastic conditioner that I highly recommend, too.

Works okay, doesn't get all my frizz or last all day. Makes hair greasy/sticky.
