No more angry, brooding eyes!
I love these eyelid strips! I have had droopy, asymmetrical, excessive, “baggy”, awful eyelids since elementary school. This is the first product that actually makes a massive improvement that lasts all day. The strips have become an essential part of my cosmetic routine. In my “after” photo, you can see one lid is a little nicer than the other. I can apply the strip more carefully than I happened to today. The picture is a true representation of a quick application of the strips.Things you should know if you’re a first-time user:1. You will probably blow through 20 strips in a row just figuring out how to get them on and how to get them to sit correctly on your eyelid. You will eventually get the hang of it, and it’s worth it. Thereafter, you will probably still mess up 25% of the time and start over with a new strip. It’s just how it goes. In my book, it is still SO worth it! When you’re first practicing, you can re-apply a single strip several times and practice with it. But it won’t stay on well for long, so only do that for practice.2. Some reviews that say the tip of the strip that you hold in the tweezer’s grasp doesn’t ever sit completely on your eyelid. This can be true-ish. It does take practice. I find that holding the strip by the end that is going on the inner part of the lid (i.e., closer to my nose) gives much more reliable results, but it IS a tricky angle to apply. Once the strip is on your eyelid, give it a really good press with your fingers. You can also use a tiny dot of false eyelash glue. But honestly, with practice, this isn’t an issue and I have washed my face with the strips on, and then slept with them on, and they’re still looking good in the morning!3. If you don’t have good vision up close, get yourself a magnifying mirror for strip application.4. Do not put ANYTHING on your skin before applying the strip. Don’t put lotion on your hands. Keep your lids grease-free! But you can put your contact lenses in before applying strips if you like. Contact lenses before or after doesn’t seem to make a difference.5. The less eye make-up you wear over the strip, the better! If you can skip it, great. If not, you MUST apply high quality eyelid primer TO THE STRIP and your eyelid AFTER applying the strip. Be reasonable; this is a high-quality product, but it’s not literally skin or a miracle. Look at user reviews with pictures. Users who have eyelids massively loaded with highly saturated eyeshadow and apparently no primer are the least satisfied users. Users showing good prep and some restraint are happier with the resultsI hope you get as much satisfaction from these strips as I have!

Nothing but Clear Packing Tape
I HATE giving a bad review because the video is sooooooo convincing on the site ~ Adorable woman putting theses on and looking FABULOUS afterward ~BUT this is a bad product ~ Hard to use, UGLY and OBVIOUS while wearing them, Stiff like plastic! I might as well cut pieces of Scotch brand packing tape and use that.I bought the flesh colored ones for a 5th of the price from another seller and loved themBut I thought I'd treat myself to the pretty carrying case and look of these LIDS BY DESIGN ~ Don't waste your money.Just reordered the $6 ones in a roll container and this is one of the best ones for the job! Swear! Flesh colored, flexible, fabric, invisible, can eye shadow them, and INEXPENSIVE! If I make 3 or 4 mistakes putting them on ~~~ Peel them off and roll them up and throw in the recycle!Best Thing about LIDS BY DESIGN product is they take returns so Thank You for that! Would hate to waste $30.

Good concept, but too difficult to apply
I purchased these last week. My practice application was uneventful and I learned where to apply. When it came time for the first actual non-practice wear, I followed the instructions and attempted to apply to my clean lids. Be aware that anything that touches the sticky part, even the provided tweezers, will "ruin" that area of the product, so the first time it touches your lid, it cannot be adjusted even if the flimsy thing flops out of position as you are trying to apply. The chances of the first touch of the application being correct are slim because it isn’t stiff enough to hold its shape as you apply. Then if you try to adjust the position, you’ll see inconsistencies in the clarity of the material, making it possible for others to see it on your lid. At about $.65 per wear, having to rip off incorrectly-applied units starts to get expensive. I went through six of them the other night before the placement looked acceptable (not perfect). But as mentioned, the area that had been touched by the tweezers (and my finger, once) turned white and didn’t adhere as well. You could see an edge sticking up and they were undeniably noticeable, which defeats the purpose. So I ended up throwing all six in the trash and not wearing them at all. If they were much cheaper (and they could be, as the materials probably cost less than the box they come in), it might be worth buying. I never did get even one to look the way it's supposed to, so it was a waste of money as well as my time. This is an update. I changed the rating to 3 stars because after a bunch of wasted strips, I finally got them to work. It's so difficult. But, if you get one on correctly, it is amazing the difference it can make. It honestly makes me look as if I've had a very good blepharoplasty. I found you can't wear eyeshadow, as it tends to stick to the outer edges of the strip, making them VERY visible. But on the bright side, when I wear these, I look better with no eyeshadow compared to when I don't wear them WITH eyeshadow (I've always used brown eyeshadow in and slightly above the crease make it appear like I have a visible crease). So when I wear these, I use eyeliner on the bottom lid only with mascara on curled lashes above. I feel like I look much younger and prettier with these on. They last all day; I wore a few pairs for two days. They don't look good by day 3, though, because the edges start to show more. The time I tried 3 days they actually slightly irritated my lid and it took a couple days to resolve, though it wasn't terrible. I do think they are expensive and may try to find a cheaper brand if I can find clear ones. If I can't, I'll purchase these again.
