Bumble Bee Cotton Wheat Wrap with Cotswold Lavender

After about 3 weeks (not used yet and stored in a cupboard) the item has brown powder pouring out. I have no idea what it is and / or if it’s safe or how to stop it. Trying to work out how to contact the seller but if I cannot I’ll have to bin so therefore a total waste of money!
