Very helpful and easy to follow
I really hate getting books that are ridiculous hard to follow and understand. This book is great! Very easy to follow and understand. The visuals through out help to make sure I was where I should be. I can't wait to take what I learned and apply it to my everyday life.

A good book that gave me a good start with Tableau
My background is with data management but these days there's an increasing need for visualisation as well. Tableau and PowerBI are of the requested, I went to the former. Not much to say, this was a good introduction to the product and I've no complaints except perhaps the the screenshots should have been clearer.I'd add that despite Tableau's sales pitch as a ridiculously easy thing to use, once you get past a certain point you hit the dirty details and it starts to look rather more like a conventional programmable application. Still good though.(Another excellent Tableau book is Practical Tableau by Ryan Sleeper. I also recommend this as the compliments the first well).

Good book for Tableau
Good book and easy to follow. However, needs updating as new features have recently been added to the software.

Clear easy introduction.
Clear, easy to read, with very helpful illustrations. Once through this book and listening to the Tableau teaching videos and you’re on your way.

Covers all the bases
This book is a comprehensive guide for anybody learning the basics of Tableau through to intermediate functions such as level of detail calculations. Granted you could probably find the same information online for free but I'm old school and I prefer to have a guide book with everything all in one place and well explained in lay terms. If you're serious about learning Tableau it's worth the investment.
