Supportive material for self studying students
This book is very informative. The more you progress through the book, you will automatically start to understand the example sentences which they have given for every word. Great for beginners ✨ I read through the book and some words are repetitive tho.

Still very good book, though really less than the 2000.
I supposed I will learn 2000 specific Turkish words, but I found, that between 2000 most commonly words in Turkish language are those like:Turkey, Allah or Ankara!- such words (and other features) make the book less interesting than it is advertised in the book's title "2000 words".However, the book is very good if you wish to know the most important vocaburary of Turkish language.Very good is, too, that the 2000 words are explained in context by their usage in sentences and translated to English.

Pointless
This book is pretty much unusable: there is no index, words are given in an unclear order (probably some measure of frequency), and the selected vocabulary includes some surprising categories like city names. A total lack of organisation works fine for flashcards, but not for a book that is supposed to facilitate the acquisition of vocabulary. Free vocabulary lists on internet do a much better job.

Not for beginners
Probably I should read description more carefully. It's not a book where you can start to learn.

Redundant words with vague sentences
Amateur book. Attempt out of dictionary. Words are repeated multiple times. Choice of sentences and translations are vague.

Great Word List
Great list of common words. An index or a list of words alphabetically with page numbers would make this book much better. We are watching Turkish dramas and often want to see what a word means. It’s probably in the list of 2000 words but you can’t look them up in alphabetical order, just the most common words in order of commonality. I do like the pronunciation of the letters and the examples once you locate the words you are looking for.
