Super Sharp Vintage Cheddar Cheese - Aged Over 3 Years - 4.5-5 lbs

I have to admit I was worried. This cheese is very expensive and I didn't want to get burned. It arrived ahead of time well chilled, packed perfectly. I cut off a small slice and bit in. It was a burst of pure Cheddar... delicious cheddar and then tiny crystals.. crunching tiny cheddar crystals that melted in my mouth. I am SO HAPPY I was not only NOT ripped off but this cheese could not possibly be any better than it is. This is the absolute definition of excellent extra sharp cheddar cheese! Thank you!!

In the last 10 or 12 years I've had difficulty finding this at times in even the most reliable stores. I've been told that there is limited availability in the US, and simply due to its quality the demand here in the Dallas area cannot always be met. I was pleasantly shocked to find it on Amazon. It arrived fast and perfectly packaged.This is not only my favorite sharp or super-sharp cheddar, but without a doubt my favorite cheese I've found anywhere in the world. Low moisture with no rind, so don't worry about how this large piece might store- it's very easy to handle.I simply cannot recommend this aged cheddar enough.
