The Giant Tells the Story Opposite of Normal!
This story was similar to the True Story of the Three Little Pigs. The bad guy (Giant) tells his version of events from the classic Jack and the Beanstalk. My kids thought it was funny. It would make a good bedtime story for young people. The kids gave it five stars.

Great twist on a well-known story
Kids love repetition. Parents... not so much. ;) I bought this to mix things up a bit after one too many nights of the traditional telling of "Jack and the Beanstalk." My son was intrigued right away and really enjoyed hearing the -other- side of the story. The illustrations are great and the tone of the story makes a nice contrast from Jack's point of view. Sometimes my son likes to hear the stories back-to-back. The publisher says it's for ages 4-to-8, but I think 2-to-6 is more appropriate (though older kids would probably benefit from the conversation of empathy you could have at the story's conclusion). My only complaint is that I would have liked the book to have been presented a bit better... bigger font and more professional binding. I'm not going to ding a star, though, because the trade-off is that it has a great price-point for a children's book.If you found this review helpful, please do me a favor and click the "Yes" button below. Fun to read too!
Funny and witty! I use these stories with my preschoolers to encourage thinking, comparing and just to have fun! These are enjoyable to read too! I have purchased 2 different ones so far and the students and staff alike enjoy the stories.

"People Thinks It's Easy Being a Giant. You Get to Be Rotten Grumpy and Loud." Fun Fast Read!
This whole series is great fun for kids - short little books that spin off the familiar tales and tell the stories from the point of view of the "villan." This one is cute - I got it got for my nephew and he loved it. Really nice illustrations!
