As someone who recently returned to playing guitar after decades of not playing I wanted a book to both relearn an challenge me. This fits the bill. It didn't spend too long in basic fingerpatterns. Moves on to more difficult patterns at a good pace. Very easy to follow but not so basic as to bore. This is a book I would return to again and again for reinforced practice. Highly recommended. I will be buying more in this series
