Dynomax Super Turbo 17698 Exhaust Muffler for Chevrolet C1500

Fits great on my 95 K1500.A slightly louder than stock but not so loud it's going to scare deer while you're driving to your favorite hunting spot.LARGER CHAMBER GOES TO THE REAR! ITS NOT LABELED.

Blew out the old one and replaced it with this after some research. After replacing some wheel bearings and manifold gaskets and other creeking parts, combined with this muffler, it sounds brand new!I give this 4 stars instead of 5 because I felt inclined to give it a lot of coats of 2,500*F high temp spray paint to protect it from rust and dirt. All the coats I put on it may have even helped insulated the sound more too.

Nice and quiet "performance" muffler. It's a smidge louder than factory. This is no rumbler. Has just enough tone that I can hear it inside the cab. 07 Ram 5.7. Tailpipe turned down before axle.

The muffler sound great has a quiet idle and during acceleration has good sound and not loud.

Sounds good when first installed. began rusting before year was out. 2 years later inlet/ outlet ends completely rusted through and muffler has to be completely replaced along with tail pipe. Bought the cat back exhaust system including this muffler from dynomax and two years later replacing system again due to rusting completely through in PA. Not very good product at all. Replaced with SS flow master series 40 system with SS Cat Y pipe.Item is just another cheap low quality over priced foreign product with American resellers.

Lasted 15 yrs as part of my Cat-Back system on my 2002 Dakota Quad Cab 4x4 with 5.9 V-8. Replaced with a better (and less expensive) option: Jones Exhaust Full Boar Round Super Duty Mufflers SD718-6B. Exactly the same but the internals are more free flowing.

The media could not be loaded. It worked exactly as expected. I paid $55 to have this welded on in place of the original muffler and I am very pleased with the sound from inside and outside the vehicle (95 chevy g20).

I installed this on my 2005 Ford Excursion. It is a good fit. I have had it on two months. Not very loud. As quiet as the stock muffler.
