Prosoco Sure Klean Weather Seal Siloxane PD - 1 Gallon

This product was recommended to me by a mason to waterproof our all-brick patio. Application was a breeze using a garden sprayer... I had no previous experience with products like this. And it’s so effective... the water beads up nicely and evaporates rather than being absorbed by the bricks and mortar. Looking forward to fewer cracks in our mortar after this coming winter!

After having problems with algae forming on masonry which was constantly wetted by overflowing gutters, I cleaned the growth off with Clorox and then applied Siloxane on the brick. No more damp brick, no more algae problems. I have also used Siloxane to treat a less-than-hard-fired brick wall where moisture was coming through and causing mold on the interior. After two coats of Siloxane, no more water penetration. I'm an architect and this is a product that is generally recognized as a very good moisture repellent for masonry and it certainly worked for me personally. Do be aware that it is not a permanent treatment and may need to be re-applied after a number of years as noted in the product usage instructions.

This stuff will seal a concrete wall like crazy. water beads off it like water off a ducks' back!

Excellent product, I used it on my brick house. Be sure you have a good quality sprayer that can make a very fine mist. Anything more than a mist wastes too much of this very expensive stuff. Flat surfaces like brick steps, and any areas that get splashes require two coats.

A concrete company replaced the top 7 rows of bricks on our chimney that were spalling and installed a new concrete chimney cap. Then they sprayed it with Prosoco Sure Clean Weather Seal. The rain water just beads right off now!

Easy to use and good coverage. Once the product dried my brick repelled the water perfectly.

Advertised as one gallon. Container only had a half gallon in it.
