Well Loved in Preschool
We’ve used these, going on two years now (3, 4, and five year olds). They are well loved! They’ve fallen and been thrown, and they’ve never broken. Not sure what happened in those other reviews. The magnet strength is just right for building- not too strong or weak. I wondered if I was paying too much for these, as there are other brands that are cheaper. The answer is “no”. These are worth it.

Break open very easily
These are super fun, the color is great, and look great on a light panel/table. However, they break open easy if dropped and the small magnetic beads inside spill out. Would not recommend for a child who still puts things in their mouth.

popular with kids
I bought this toy despite the "D" rating. My kids are 6 and 3 and they fight over this toy. First of all please keep in mind that this is a magnetic toy and not Legos. You can not add blocks to constructions unlimitedly, eventually they will fall down (gravity is real!!). My kids make mainly flat constructions or smaller size robots. They are not bothered that their constructions are fragile. Yes, I would recommend this toy and I just bought a 2nd set because I am sick of the fighting. No, nobody offered me a promotion for my opinion.

I love love love these and they really get played with a lot!
So my younger son has had early intervention and private therapy and these magnetic blocks are two thumbs up approved from professional therapists. The colors are great and the blocks combine in endless, creative ways to make all kinds of things. The boys have had them for over two years and still play with them. They are great!

Great value
We own the Magna-Qubix set as wellPros: lots more blocks for the priceCons:1. When comparing the two, this set is less sturdy2. Magnets are not as strongThe reason for one less star is because one of the blocks is malformed. See pictureI would give this 5 stars for the price to blocks ratio if we didn't get one defect block.

My 4yo played with these for hours!
These magnetic blocks have been my 4yo's favorite toy for a week straight. She played with them for hours by herself the first day, which she's NEVER done with other toys! She has those magnetic tiles which she enjoys, but something about the simplicity of these cubes really sparked her imagination more than the tiles. (They do work/stick/are magnetic with the tiles). There is also a really satisfying sound when they "clack" together. Other than being just a really cool blocks set, the translucent style is really pretty to look at and to be able to see the little magnetic balls in the corners is cool. This is also a really good "to-go" toy while out and about since the pieces stay together. An another note, the customer service is amazing! This small business was very responsive about fixing an issue I had with one dud cube in the set. They were quick, friendly, and enthusiastic. I received a replacement cube right away. Thanks Brainspark team!

Falls apart every time it hits the floor
The problem with this thing is that it's a TOY, and toys are dropped to the ground regularly. It's not strongly magnetic, therefore it often breaks up when held and when this stuff hit the ground, one of the cubes breaks apart. The cover opens up, and you have 8 small magnetic balls roaming around the house, which is definitely very dangerous if you have younger kids/pets around, and it's a problem finding all the parts of a broken cube (and nope, I wasn't able to find all 8 balls on the two cubes broken so far 10 minutes after opening the box.) I am not a returning guy and do plan to eat this mistake. But it's not even a magnetic toy, it's very weakly magnetic that don't hold up. Out of the many many toys (>100) we buy at Amazon, only one of two that I would not hesitate to return (or throw away.)

My toddler loves these!
My toddler loves these magnetic blocks! The colors are fun and vibrant, and the magnets are strong but not so strong that they're hard to pull apart. These would definitely be better for older toddlers or older kids because the blocks are pretty small so they might pose a choking hazard, but overall they're such a fun toy for the kids!
