Good but!
I like that it has a case but not sure how long the case closer clips will last! On opening looks good but I was not impressed with the router securing casing clamp which is used for hight and fine adjustment is a plastic cog how long that will last not long if used alot in my opinion! I was impressed with the power lead just under 3M in length It looks heavy duty! Price wise good if used occasionally! Comfort and weight ok

Good, but not perfect
Useful little trimmer. Powerful enough, my method is to cut close to your line with a saw, leaving 1-2mm, then clean-up to the line with the trimmer. BUT, the plastic gear arrangement to adjust the plunge depth is neither use nor ornament. Gear teeth just slip over the rack teeth on the body of the trimmer. However, it is worth bearing in mind that this is not a "plunge" router, but I will be figuring out a way of solving the gear issue!

Looking forward to seeing what I can get done with it. That's what you want in a tool.
You can't help notice when reading these reviews - most are actually very positive and - it doesn't seem to matter what the product is - there's always exactly one right in your eyeline that tries to make out whatever the thing is almost committed burglary or something heinous: it's not just simply faulty, it's evil, possibly possessed...One such complaint concerns a photo of a sheet of expensive teak some guy had tried to rout a circle out of, clearly indicating (as shown in the photo) he'd tried to cut the outside of the shape by moving the router clockwise around the outer edge - and he actually wondered why his router chewed the sheet of wood up.Outside edge - rout counterclockwise - inside edge - other direction. The tool is absolutely fine, it's the person driving it that's usually at fault.Great piece of kit, had a chance to try it out cutting hinge rebates and a latch-plate recess and very happy with the result, it's a nice piece of kit with plenty of options: you can mount it for use in a routing table, it's not too heavy in your hand and follows a straight edge one-handed.There's a lot of these on the market, currently - kind of spoilt for choice but, if you're looking for a hand router - not too expensive - dipping your toe in the water with one of these probably isn't a bad way to go.Cleans off easy, packs away back in its case without a struggle - guide arm is a little flimsy, but I'd use a straight edge and a couple of clamps to guide the thing anyway, so I'm not particularly bothered about that. Roller arm is good and firm, and it's about the right kind of wattage you want for most jobs.Looking forward to seeing what I can get done with it. That's what you want in a tool.

RUBBISH
THIS ROUTER IS RUBBISH AND DANGEROUS.GOT A ELECTRIC SHOCK OFF IT ON THIRD TIME USE.WAS GOING TO RETURN IT,BUT NOT A OPTION AFTER 30 DAYS.THAT RETURN POLICY TELLS YOU EVERYTHING.SPEND A LITTLE MORE AND GET SOMETHING BETTER AND SAFER.

Good effort but not quite there
The plastic sliding cover is too flimsy as it tends to move when used.

Great product
Great product. I’ve used it to revamp my horrible doors. Done 3 already and no mark on the blades. Easy to use for a novice diyer and leaves an amazing finish (bought separately as there are none in the box). Although unless your doors are completely straight with no paint on I wouldn’t use the guide. I ended up buying a straight bit of wood for 3.49 from b&q and clamping it on then just using this to make the straight cuts with ease x
