Had high expectations but my cat can’t bare it
The smell is also quite strong and doesn’t really have that tasty smell and flavour that would make my cat stay still for brushing. Really helpful it came with a brush and a finger brush for getting all over my cat’s teeth.

Cant get near my cat with it. The smell repels him.

The toothbrush is great. My cat chews on it especially if I dip it in a bag of flavoursome treats without a treat, and I never have to force the brushing technique because he is a big fan of the brush, but the flavour of the paste I felt so cruel giving it to him as he heaved and gagged and I had to use my finger to scrape it back off his teeth and feed him a treat instead, then he avoided me. Luckily the brush saved the stars of this product.. but any brush could do

Cat doesn't like the toothpaste, toothbrush and finger brush okay
The little brush and finger brush seem fine, and are what I expected so no issues there. The problem is with the toothpaste - it claims to be tuna flavoured but it doesn't smell like tuna at all to me. More importantly, it doesn't seem to smell or taste like tuna to my cat. I couldn't convince her to take any of it until I covered it in chicken powder, and when she did accept that, she looked horrified at the taste and backed away. Wish I'd read the reviews before purchasing as, to be fair, others did mention this problem.

My cat hates it
Can't comment on the effectiveness- it sounds very good but my cat absolutely hated it and I could only get one tiny bit onto his teeth before he disappeared, swearing.Nice to see a known brand in the pet toothpaste market though, and I would try this again if I were training a kitten to get used to teeth cleaning.
