Fender Yngwie Malmsteen Electric Guitar Strings 8-46

I don't know how much of a review this is, I've never played more comfortable and better sounding strings, but this is more of a plea to Fender to please keep them in stock. I've never been able to bend a string so expressively, the lightest of touches can make for some very beautiful sounding playing if you allow yourself to not have ham hands.

I put these on my strat after watching a Rick Beato video on lighter strings. This set is a hybrid one, so the EAD are relatively heavy and the GBE are very light and bend easily.The low strings have enough tension for some chugging and djenting in E standard and in E flat and the high strings are very articulate and actually seem to give a larger sound than a thicker gauge would. I suspect they are able to ring for longer than higher tension strings. Chords are particularly nice when allowed to ring out.My strat usually stays in E Flat just like Yngwie does and they work perfectly. I'm going to try a set on my Les Paul in E standard. Hopefully the higher tuning will deal with the shorter scale length.They have a nice feel under the fingers too.Downsides - at the moment I am over shooting on string bending as the high strings are really easy to bend. But I'll have that sorted in a week with some practice.It's early days so I have no comment on durability yet, but I have had other Fender strings that have lasted well.

Since I use these strings, I am happy.
