Does not hold ice for even 24 hours
The build is nice but the whole point to buying an ice chest like this is for ice lasting much longer than a traditional ice chest. I have tested this ice chest with both cubes and crushed ice and both have completely melted in less than 24hours. I have filled the ice chest with ice and nothing else and not opened it for 24hours and the ice was completely melted in 24 hours and barely even cool. Very disappointed, would not recommend. Buy a Yeti (buy once cry once).

Not worth the money!
So the this was my first time buying an Artic zone product. The construction was solid and the design was also nice. The reason I am giving this product a 2 star review is due to the limited amount of space, cost and poor ice retention. I tested the cooler in my house where the temp was 74 degrees and most of the ice was melted in less that 24 hours! For the amount of money they are charging for this cooler it should be able to hold ice just as long as RTIC or Yeti, but it is a far cry from those brand. I would recommend spending the extra money to get one of the other coolers that will give you 8 to 10 days of ice retention instead of just the 4 days max that this cooler guarantees.

happy with my purchase
there are so many good and bad reviews on all these coolers and different brands.Ok This is just a FYI (when you get this cooler it is sealed with vacuum so don't try to pry the lid open simply just unscrew the drain valve and you will hear the pressure release)1st Know the expectations of the cooler2nd Have a realistic expectation1st test I tested this one out right away after buying. With the cooler containing several drinks almost filling the bottom of the cooler and adding 1 small bag of ice. sitting inside my truck in the sun for 10 hrs. I came out and still had probably 2 handfuls of ice left not to bad in my opinion that was without seasoning it which is cooling the cooler down before hand.2nd test. I had around 10 bottles in it and a small bag of ice left on my deck in the shade The ice lasted 2 days3rd Test. I seasoned the cooler overnight then added 2 small bags of ice and a 12 pack to it. ice lasted 3 days.I suppose you could get 4 days out of it if you seasoned the cooler overnight and then filled the cooler with fresh ice completely. Overall I am most pleased with this cooler. Very sturdy

Amazing cooler! Held ice for 4+ days!
This cooler is exactly like a yeti! I bought it for my camping trip over the 4th of july weekend. Seasoned it by putting in two frozen bottles of water over night. I was able to fit a pack of a dozen eggs, two things of bacon, two packages of sausage links, cheese, and about 20 jello shots, with 2 bags of ice. The weather was 80+ for 4 days. The ice melted halfway two days in, so I drained the water. Now after 4 days of the same ice(just drained the water once) the cooler food is still cold inside, and there is still ice!!! I highly recommend this cooler, and I will be buying a bigger size as it has held ice like no other cooler I have. It's worth the price for my camping trips. The value is definitely there for the money!

Performance of cheap red ones, but solid and nice form factor
Pros: solid, durable, great drain, looks cool, nice size (I needed a specific height range and wanted square corners for where I wanted to store it)Cons: after days of filling this with ice and draining it off, with everything inside of it, the cooler was definitely at temperature, so there's no issue there. I put it in the back of a vehicle at 11:30 am on day 1 and drove with it. Temperatures got as high as the upper 70s and never got too high in the vehicle because it was open air and shaded. Inside (70ish) at 5:30 pm. Opened three times to grab three cans from it. At 7:00am on day 2, opened it again to grab a can and it was 90% water.By comparison, a big white one named after an aquatic animal and featured in an ad with bears had food and drinks in it. It had the same timeline and process, except that it was stored in an enclosed trailer that may have gotten warmer and at the end of day 1 the majority of its contents were removed. In its case, there is some water but I'd put it at more like 50-75% ice remaining.Bottom line, I may finally ditch the cheap red cooler I have that's a similar size since this is comparable, but in a real world one-day test I've shown myself that this cooler is not suitable for extended use. Still, it looks great and closes solidly, and I like the form factor, so I'm giving it 2 stars for that.
