Stiglmeier Smoked Mettwurst 8 Oz (4 Pack)

I grew up in Germany and this is legit and high quality Mettwurst. FYI, there is an almost identical wurst called Teawurst, which looks and tastes like Mettwurst, only the flavor is not as strong. Perhaps the reviewer who didn't like this was actually longing for Teawurst (which is better in my opinion). This wurst is very good, but the price is a killer. You have to be terribly homesick to order these, and yes I was, but now I can die happy!

Just the way I remembered the taste from 50 years ago. My 85 year old German mother agrees! Thanks for the memories!

Grandma is from Germany and knows how Mettwurst tastes like, and she says that it's not the same. It also has a metallic aftertaste. Mother also knows how Mettwurst tastes like and loved it, but she doesn't want to eat this one. I don't like it as well. We ended up feeding it to some stray animals. However, the Headcheese from this company is delicious, and Mom says that she could eat the whole stick if she could.
