Pushes all things about prepared lids to the max. Not even worth making your own. The strong plastic withstands intense heat from sterilization and make them dishwasher safe. They can be completely disassembled for easy cleaning and come with two injection ports for more than enough use before replacement. The seal is much stronger than regular jar lids as well making for less contamination. They are slightly more expensive but worth it in every regard!

They worked the first couple times then I had to take them apart and silicone the area where the filters go.Update: I changed my review to 5 stars because the company reached out and helped resolve my problems. Good to have a company that stands by their products.

I've made quite a few, but I suppose I became lazy. These are great and pretty cheap. Will purchase again.

I use these for my liquid culture.Use with or without the filter. Didn't blow it up when I tested it with cap tight. But now I loosen the cap just to extend filter life.Expensive but reusable

I used these for my liquid culture jars because I didn't feel like making my own lids. These work great but you have to be very careful to have the seal properly placed inside the lid. Before pressure cooking your jars tip the jar to check for leaks. I had one jar that wouldn't completely stop leaking but it is a very small leak so I am not too worried about it.

The media could not be loaded. The idea and quality seems to be great but these come nowhere close to fitting all wide mouth jars as claimed. Even when attempting to force the lid down onto the threads of the jars they still do not tighten or even bite enough to remotely tighten. This you can clearly see in my video. It’s also very frustrating to have to now be set back in my spawning another week to two weeks. I absolutely wouldn’t steam/pressure sterilize these kids as they will shrink and fail you quickly. I had a lot of hope for these life’s due to there high end appearance that doesn’t scream DIY or homemade. Hope you can revamp this product to improve the functionality to match the claims.

I loved it for the fact it had 2 injection ports

I was skeptical at first reading the comments. I’m thinking that people forgot to put water in their PC or it evaporated too early, causing the plastic to melt. Works as expected! Took it on a test run just to be sure.
