Q: how does the bobby shew mouth piece compare to the Schilke 14A4A?

The BS Lead is more like 12 or 13A4a but with a rounder rim. Schilke 14A4a is bigger, like a Bach 3C, with a flat rim and a tighter throat.There is also a Bobby Shew Jazz which is the same size as the lead but with a deeper cup for a darker sound. But I am no authority.

Q: Will this fit a jupiter trumpet?

If it's a standard receiver it should.

Q: What is the actual cup depth measurement? "Very shallow" doesn't tell me much, when trying to compare with others.

Never took the measurement and no longer have it. I believe it was more shallow than my Bach 3E.
