Extending net works well and easy to operate. If you end up using a table that is too thick for the next posts then just use rolled up towels. The bats are decent quality and the rubber is slow enough to control the ball for beginners but still allow for some spin and speed for more developing players. Carry case works well to keep two bats, net and three balls protected in a space about the size of a hard back text book. Keep it in car for rainy days at school so my classes have something active and fun to do for “wet play”. Highly recommended for teachers and lunchtime activities supervisors - get your school to buy some sets.

Extremely high quality product. Well packaged and aesthetically pleasing. Exceeded my expectations in terms of gameplay. Consistent bounce with the balls. Paddles are well made and appear durable. Would certainly recommend.

I’ve been wanting to purchase a table tennis set for some time now, and this set certainly hasn’t disappointed. Comes with everything needed for a game of table tennis. The net fits neatly into position, I thought it might be a little tricky at first but it wasn’t the case. Bats seems durable, only time will tell. Can’t wait to take this on holiday with us whenever that will be!

I have seen reviews here on Amazon that say "Does the job" and give it 4 stars. If this is about value for money - then perhaps it is closer to 4 stars, but the overall rating in my view is in the middle - i.e., 3 stars.The bats are very inconsistent in my opinion. The plywood seems to me to be untreated, and (I am guessing here as I haven't dismantled one yet) the plies are not of the same material either side. Further more, the sponge behind the rubber is of very different thicknesses on either side, which is not what the marketing suggests. The grips are a somewhat saving grace, as they are decent and the balance of the bats is rather-centric (leaning towards the grip)The balls are rather light and slow - though I appreciate this is a matter of personal preference.The case looks good enough. Unfortunately one of the balls was damaged in transit, so don't expect it to guard your bats in the boot of you car either.The net is the best thing about this product and the only reason I have not returned this. It spans a full-sized tennis table, and a small one alike. The spring holds the net adequately level and springy. It is easy to attach, and even though the attachment spring could have been a bit stronger, then it would not have been as easy to operate - so you have to pick your battles.TL;DR:At this price point, I expected much more from the bats.The case is adequate.The net is great.

We gave my two grandsons a table tennis set each and we have just spoken to our eldest aged 6 and he had set up the net on their kitchen table - as easy as that. His other Granny said how simple it was to set up and use and they were playing table tennis together. Brilliant

I received this as a gift. Good bit of kit this, nice carry case and well made bats. The rubber’s used are sticky which is great for spin.
