Death Stranding: The Official Novelisation - Volume 1
S**T
Pretty much follows the narrative of the game.
A good companion to the game but if you haven't seen or played the game it may seem a little vague and the concepts a little difficult to comprehend.

Good Book To Read
As I have played the game, reading the book was a different experience a good experience as I was playing out the scenes in my mind from the game.

Klare Kaufempfehlung.

Doesn't do justice to the game
This book is, more or less, a retelling of the cutscenes, but without the captivating quality of the game. It either suffers poor translation, poor writing style, or both: multiple words repetitions, characters retelling infos the reader just learned all the time, weak world-building...It relies a lot on the idea that the reader has played the game, and doesn’t bother with building tension, sharing powerful emotions or creating evocative descriptions. The outsiders’ point of view (Igor, Deadman, the Elder, Fragile etc.) could bring a lot of interesting novelty, but they feel very, very bland. It is anticlimactic and boring, a pity for anyone who enjoyed the original storyline.
