Neat Product!
Durable product great for keeping the sand down at the beach and when camping. Lay two blankets on it and enjoy the weather.

Great for family picnics on the beach
Fantastic product. Thoroughly recommend. Love the large 10 foot size. It's a bit heavy but worth the money

Amazing mat with some caveats.
We just used this to our trip to Port Aransas beach, Texas. I freaking love this thing! Not knowing that this beach is more for the tailgaters than the sand loungers; we placed this out first to place out beach blankets onto, so that sand didn't make it's way to the towels. The sand did not make it's way to the towels but my girlfriend and I got washed out by a quick wave that made it's way to our spot. Everything was soaking wet and salt/sand water was on everything. We needed to lay everything out to dry. The water and sand that washed it's way up sifted through the mat and the mat was completely dry after laying it out for a few minutes. So we ended up using the mat to lay out all the rest of the belongings to dry in the sun and to help us get all the sand off of the towels, once dried so that we could wipe our bodies off, after coming in from the waters. I am so in love with this mat! After we had regrouped (got smart), we decided to bring our car onto the beach and parked it next to us, with our belongings in the trunk, right on the beach. I placed this mat right on the sand next to the rear bumper of our 4runner so that when people came up to the trunk of the car to get their, drinks, snacks, towels, change song, put on more sunscreen, etc, they were able to wipe off their feet of sand and dry off with a clean towel. This allowed us to keep a sand free barrier around the congregation area at the car! I noticed that everyone with us on the beach that day, loved the mat and found themselves sitting and standing on it rather than the shallow area of the water. It kept us all cleaner and gave us a break from the sticky sand when we needed it.Now the bad news. I got several globules of beach tar onto the mat and have to figure out a way to get it off of the mat. It looks like there are three layers of plastic weave that it got into that I need to clean off. I am going to try some WD-40 to work it's way off of the mat. I also noticed that the metal rings to stake the mat down got rusted. So I will need to clean them of the rust and protect them with a coat of clear coat of paint so that they do not rust in the future.

amazing. magic.
these things are absolutely amazing. we use them on rafting trips as an area for the kiddos to hang out as well as the grown ups. kids can draw without sand getting all over their pages and them. It really works like magic. definitely recommend for beach goers or river hangouts!

Great investment that ups one’s experiences
For years we’ve had the 6’x6’ mat mostly for beach time, but also when we ‘glamp’ with our trailer and set the mat wherever we place our chairs. We have always loved it. This year we began taking a 10’x10’ canopy, and were using the 6’’x6’ mat along with a patio mat, mexican blankets until I realized why not get the 10’x10’ one under the canopy? Ideally, the corner mat D rings would more or less match the canopy leg base and a stake would hold mat/leg secure.I couldn’t find the actual dimension of the mat, just 10’x10’. When I unrolled it upon arriving at our campsite, it does measure 10’x10’. For our canopy brand, I was very happy to see it all work. I had made “staples” from fairly rigid aluminum wire for a different thing, but used them here-better than protruding stakes. Of course, I guy all canopy corners to take the brunt of winds, and the staples simply keep the legs from moving. Perfect mat for under your canopy.
