Perfect tools, thanks again

I needed a drill guide for 1/16" and this is the only one I could find. This is perfect for making perpendicular holes with tiny bits. Seems to be holding up so far and its not wallowing out. I was a bit surprised when I got it, from the pictures I was imagining that it would be bigger but it is super tiny which is a good thing as you can get it into tighter spaces. There are centering score marks on every hole so it makes aligning it up to your exact location much easier. Impressed, good quality all metal not some plastic junk.

This tool is surprisingly small, but extremely well built. I had searched around and looked up the specs and was still surprised by it's size. I thought I should post a picture to show it. It's effectively a drill press you can fit in your pocket!This thing is SOLID! I can see this easily outlasting me.Other's have mentioned that it tends to move around if you don't clamp it down, and I can see where clamping it will certainly make it more stable. I've followed another reviewers' suggestion and used a center punch where I want the hole and then pushed the drill bit all the way through and centered it in advance before bringing the guide down into contact with the work surface. Perfect for luthier work.

I do a lot of custom installs (picture frames, mirrors, cabinets, shelves, hooks, hangers, tvs, etc,) and find this invaluable tool to drill pilot holes. Sure, you can do it freehand but sometimes the mount is at the edge of the stud and if you don't get it straight, it won't be secured. You also need a good stud finder and I have stud buddy, electronic one, and a top of the line yellow Franklin. I also have the other Gator that goes up to 1/2" hole.

Really like this product if you want to make sure that your holes are straight this is my buddy for perfectly drill straight holes

Worked exactly as advertised to provide a accurate 90 degree angle when using small specialty drills.

I needed 1/4"-20 bolts with holes near the threaded end for clevis pins. None were available other than by special order (very expensive).I used the drill guide and clamped a 1/4"-20 x 2.5" bolt into the "V" groove. I drilled the bolt shaft out with the 3/32" guide hole-EXCELLENT!This device is small but very sturdy and well made. I highly recommend it.

Tolerance is sufficiently low

Wenn eine Bohrung mal perfekte ausgelotet sein muss und man keine tischbohrmaschine besitzt, ist das der perfekte Helfer.Der Preis ist zwar recht hoch, jedoch wirkt das Produkt dafür auch unverwüstlich.Man braucht jedoch eine Zwinge, um die Bohrführung festzuspannen, da mit der freien Hand halten nicht wirklich gut funktioniert.

Ce guide de perçage est vraiment excellent, bien mieux que ce que j'avais pu utiliser auparavant, notamment les modèles plastiques chemisés d'un fourreau métallique de guidage, mais dont les diamètres ont bien trop de jeu, ce qui fait que l'on ne perce pas perpendiculairement au plan, ce que l'on recherche en fait. Avec ce guide, le jeu des trous est minime, ce qui fait que le foret est parfaitement guidé, et le trou reste parfaitement perpendiculaire.A recommander impérativement !
