Could not beat price, even more expensive at Wally World.

Buy these for the earth
It’s a small but useful gesture.

Bright colors
I use these refills all the time as my job requires a lot of writing. The color always pops & never looks dull. Best refill I’ve found.

Like the packaging better - lowers price and gets discarded anyway
My only issue thus far is that one of the refills is a "hard writer" that is a bit scratchy and does not roll well. We'll see how it goes because I bought a total of 20 cartridges.

Happy to be able to buy the blue refills! Love the Pentel pens!
The best writing pen IMO the ink just flows over the paper. Great for journaling or taking lecture notes. Was sent blk ink instead of the blue ordered. Had to return the black refills before replacement was shipped which meant I had to wait a couple extra days to use, but otherwise fast turnaround.

.7mm refills in ANY color from 'Japan' only, comparison
I am no expert, however I have owned many pens from all price levels over the years-Often refills are the weak-link in a pen's performance, even though the pen itself may be cool or beautiful !I've been using Pentel EnerGel for about 10 years now.... switched from Zebra...I have tried the Pentel refills from the US, the EU, India & Japan, all in .7mm, in a few colors...In ALL cases, the real Japanese ones (you can tell by the plastic bag the refill is in says 'Made in Japan') last longer & write best & have never leaked-As I understand, Pentel has manufacturing plants all over the world....The plant matters !As an example, the ones from India write well, though they run out a lot faster.....The US ones are less reliable & sometimes leak or simply have poor ink flow....I'm sure the real-deal Japanese ones may be more difficult to get now unfortunately....I also noticed that the Japanese pic on the description is different now too-If you write a lot like me, you will appreciate the difference & seek out (& confirm from the vendor) the actual Japan made refills !
