Way better than past/other konjac
Well, as the lifelong diet saga of dieting continues, I found myself on the market for konjac noodles. I have purchased several brands in the past that had odors and spongy textures and these are the best ones by far. No odor, good texture, well priced and good packaging. If this is your first experience with konjac, you have chosen well. I would definitely recommend.

Figured out how 2 cook them not 2 smell
If you don't like FISH or the fish smell then your going to have a problem with these noodles. I don't like fish or the smell and yet I CAN EAT THESE NOODLES WITH NO PROBLEM. I'll tell you what I do so you can tweak them to your taste. 1- rinse WELL (2/3 times) 2 - For one pk noodles put 3 1/2 c. water with one heaping spoon bullion, THE BULLION MUST HAVE SALT IN IT (I like to use Knorr's brand-more for the money). Cook noodles on Low or # 3 on the STOVE top for between 30 to 45 minutes. 3 - Next drain but do not rise. 4 - Repeat steps # 2 & 3. 5 - If you have your soup ready add the noodles, if not than make the soup & add the noodles. NOTE: The noodles will not smell like fish, and will be a bit like undercooked onions. Meaning they'll be translucent, limp, cooked with a slight crunch. Also, the noodles WILL NOT take on ANY of the bullion flavoring. You'll need to use broth with the noodles at the same time when eating. The use of salt helps to get read of the fishy smell and lets your soup have flavor. The first 2 times I tried these noodles my soups had No flavor & was fish-ish smelling. I'm now happy with my soups. I hope this helps.

You may not be able to digest it
I really wanted to like this product given the benefits of low-calorie noodles, but the smell from the package was intense and my stomach seemed to not be able to digest it. Within 30 minutes of eating it, it caused me stomach aches and I heard weird sounds from my stomach as it was trying to digest the noodles. If you are a person who has strong sense of smell or gag reflex, or has a weaker stomach, this is likely not for you.

Odd taste
I have no idea how some of the reviewer can say these have no odd taste or odor. It helps to rinse them thoroughly but it still lingers. It's not unbearable but there are other brands where it is very mild to nonexistent. Anyway, since there are better choices I will not be buying these again.

If you're a shiritaki fan, buying these in bulk!
If you're a fan of shiritaki noodles, these are worth buying in bulk. I got the pure fettuccini, which were exactly what I hoped and expected them to be. If you're not familiar with shiritaki noodles, they feel a little "squeaky" compared to regular noodles, but for their relative nutrition, they can't be beat! As with most shiritaki noodles, they smell fishy, but rinsing, draining, and mixing with flavorful sauce fixes that. I've found they're best with sauces that are a little more flavorful than what I would put on regular noodles.

No carb rubber noodle
The longer the noodle simmers in the sauce, the less rubbery it gets, but remember its no netcarbs. No smell, no taste, just a vehicle for a tasty sauce. Very convienient.

Smelled sorta weird and had an odd texture
I had problems with the smell. It wasn't really bad, but it didn't smell like something edible. Each package comes double bagged so I suspect the manufacture was worried about the smell as well.I also didn't like the texture. It was way too chewy, while tasting like goo, and the mouth feel was weird.Overall - I ended up throwing most of the box away because I did NOT want to eat it.TL;DR: I would NOT order again.
