Good phone for gaming.
Battery life isn't long on this device but it's probably because of its now degraded battery after being manufactured, great camera and screen quality, vibrant colors and sharpness, comes with a screen protector, case and charger included, phone's performance is great for gaming.

An unplanned purchase turns out to be an excellent phone :)
I had a Pixel 5 that I was very happy with, but it developed a fault. Contacted Amazon and they had no stock to replace it, so they just completely refunded the phone (Amazon CS rocks again). Wondering what to replace it with, or whether to pick up a Pixel 5 elsewhere, I stumbled on this. I've been pondering OnePlus phones for a while, but the cameras were their weak point. However the reviews said the 9 series with their Hasselblad link closed that gap. But I should say, I haven't tested the camera yet.I've only had the phone 2 days, but the simple fact is, it's blown me away. I like everything about it (well, almost everything - the fingerprint sensor is a little finicky, but I think it's just a matter of developing the muscle memory that suits the phone). I like the flat screen - curved edges are just an irritation. I like the size of the screen (which I admit I missed a bit on the Pixel 5). I absolutely love the user interface; one reason I stuck with Pixel phones is the clean, 'pure Android' interface. OnePlus have their own version of Android (OxygenOS) but it is equally smooth, fast, clean and clear of bloat. It feels as good as a Pixel interface. It's incredibly fast - way faster than the Pixel 5, which was always smooth and hitch free. I was surprised I could feel the difference - I had no complaints - but this is definitely faster. 120hz screen makes for really smooth scrolling. OnePlus even chuck in a case to get you going and today I realised they have also fitted a screen protector! One hated job that won't need doing. (The fairly ugly case I have already replaced though.)The battery life isn't quite up to the Pixel 5, I think, though it's hard to be sure because obviously a new phone gets used a lot as you're setting everything up. Even so, it's clear that it will comfortably last more than a day - maybe 2 - in normal use. Just everything about this phone gives me a sense of pleasure in using it. I had serious misgivings about not just replacing my loved Pixel 5 with another one, but I am delighted with the OnePlus 9. And for its price bracket, it is very good value for the money.

This phone is an absolute beast for the price.
Ok, so you're probably wondering why it's cheap considering the specs and I'll be honest I have absolutely no idea because this phone competes with the Samsung S21 Ultra, which is 2x the price. As usual I was hesitant to buy because of a few not so good reviews, but I'm convinced they are left by people who are unable to set up a phone correctly.First of all, the phone comes as FHD+ as default, you need to change the display settings to QWHD to get that beautiful sharp display. And let me say, the display is absolutely stunning, sharp, beautiful colour production, amazingly smooth 120hz refresh rate that is immediately noticeable, and the screen also has software accelerated motion smoothing which further adds to the silky smooth video production.I purchased the 128gb 8gb version and the phone is actually extremely fast, sometimes it takes me by surprise!! Runs some more visually demanding games buttery smooth. The phone itself feels premium quality in the hand and the back is a thing of beauty, especially in the colour morning mist. The camera lenses are large and look really pleasing to the eye.Battery life is 4/5 BUT, This is a big BUT.. You have no idea how fast this phone charges. 30 mins to 100% and it's not spec sheet lies. It really does charge faster than anything I've ever witnessed! Amazing for people who use their phone a lot and wish to charge for a little bit after heavy use, 10 mins will easily charge to 30%Moving to the camera itself, if you are unfamiliar with Hassleblad whom collaborated with OnePlus to create the camera system create very high end medium format cameras. As a photographer with 20 years experience I definitely have a valid opinion of it's performance, the cameras are really great in well lit situations, with great colour reproduction, sharp images with great clarity. Low light is harder to get a sharp image but that can be corrected with a little tripod. My only gripe would probably be the shutter time, I've had phone's that are faster but as a landscape photographer this isn't a problem. The selfie camera is good and produces a bookah effect, although it's software produced, this is still not good enough to retire your DSLR!The operating system is android obviously but the oxygen OS mod that oneplus produced is by far my favorite, it's easy to use, plenty of customisation options and definitely has a one up on samsung.Overall, I'm still in shock at the price for such a phone.. have they messed up the pricing? Aha.Want my opinion? Just buy it, I'm literally over the moon with it.Hope this helped you decide. My apologies if I missed anything out.

Good phone
Well this is my first oneplus phone so I wasn't sure what to expect. After a few months of using this phone I realise that this phone is is good for money. So the positives to me have been the super fast charging (60w). This is perfect for those days when I forget to put my phone on charge and 30-minutes later I have 100% battery. With a Full battery lasting a day and a half which is fantastic. One of the other advantage this phone has is it's dual SIM. I didn't realise that when I bought the phone as it comes in handy if you have an additional SIM or on holiday. The operating system is a delight to use and has more custom features than the normal Samsung. The camera is great but not fantastic. It still has a few teething software issues which I'm sure will be rectified in the future. I am not a big camera user so it doesn't bothe me.One feature that I haven't been able to try is the 5G. This is because the area where I live currently doesn't have any coverage. Not sure if the 5G will affect battery life as well.
