Watch arrived with two major deep scratches on the dial over the 12 o clock. Had to send for return/refund. Hopefully next watch is new and does not arrive damaged as the process for returning takes over a week.Update: New one came in, way better condition. Minor scuff but with these watches the glass is not mineral. I’ll take it, looks gorgeous.

This is my first Vostok amphibia, and I've researched this watch and found it to be the one for me. A no nonsense efficient timepiece, and from Russia too. A lot of attention and hands on work went into the making of it. In short, I'm very pleased with it and am looking forward to many years of quality wear of my Vostok watch.

I bought this watch because I had gotten one in Russia around 92 and gave it to my father and it still runs. I love the look at this watch, but evidently the quality is gone way down. I only had it for a couple of months before, I couldn’t wear it because of not being able to see the numbers and hands due to the moisture that I can’t get out of the watch. It holds a constant fog on the inside of the glass. The only times that the watch saw water was in the shower and in a 9 foot pool maybe two or three times over the summer. Super disappointing. It still holds great time and sexy AF but definitely not worth the money being that it’s supposed to be water resistant and instead is virtually useless and sits in a drawer. I even put it in a bag of rice for days on end but as soon as I would put it on, it would fog back up…. Super bummer.

The watch arrived quickly, no frills. For a ridiculously affordable automatic watch, it looks great and works well. I have seen other reviews criticizing the strap, but it goes well with the timepiece and I like it a lot! Highly recommend!

This Vostok watch has so much charm. From it's storied history, serious dive capabilities and incredible price to it's automatic movement and mechanical, sweeping seconds hand. I love it. If you get one, do note the crown wobbles on it's stem when unscrewed (loosened). This is 'normal' and a design feature to help longevity of the crown. It's wonky and janky, and there's no real distinction between the first position (to wind the watch) and second position (to set the time) very well. But that's how they're made, and part of the charm. It's built like a brick ... house, and keeps pretty good time. Mine is fast about 20 seconds a day, which is well within specification for this mechanical movement. For the price, it's a tremendous value. On top of that, the heritage and history are added benefits. I wouldn't give anything for my Vostok Amphibia.

A well made watch at a decent price that is water resistant to 200M, keeps good time, and looks good on the wrist.
