A good inexpensive scout type knife with a pen blade instead of an awl.
This is a well made variant of the traditional scout type knife. While several reviewers have correctly noted that the smaller blade is not at all suitable as an awl or leather punch blade, I have found that this blade is thin and sharp enough to use as a pen blade, since it is ground and sharpened on one side only I find it is has been especially well suited to opening sealed plastic packaging, and it also serves well as a marking blade. The larger blade is well suited to food prep work, and the can opener and screwdriver cap lifter work as intended and are both are thick and sturdy. The springs are properly tempered and have great snap in opening and closing. The handle is well shaped smooth rosewood with solid stainless bolsters. The maker has wisely chosen to omit the usual glued on shield used on many knives of Chinese origin (these often fall off and are lost with use), and has attached the stainless steel bail securely with a solid stainless pin. The etch on the blade is much more subdued than the one illustrated by Amazon. The blades and tools have a satin finish that is easily restored with a Scotch Brite pad when needed.Update 2021: This knife is still going strong three years on. I carry it in the bottom of my pocket with keys and change and thanks to the steel bolsters and the durable finish on the wood scales it still looks none the worse for it. The blades have been easy to maintain and stay sharp longer than I would have thought, The tools have all done their intended tasks many times without any deformation.

I love this knife!
Where to begin. A good pocket knife should have options. It's not how big the blade is, it's how sharp and sturdy the blade is. I bought one of these for each of my kids and myself. I have a similar red BSA pocket knife that I've carried for almost 30 years. It's been a good knife but has sadly seen better days. They don't make that same kind of knife anymore. I stumbled across this one and fell in love. It's sturdy, is multi use and has a lifetime warranty. I'm retiring my BSA knife this month and breaking out this guy. I'll probably order a couple of more, just because. I'm kind of a knife hoarder and it's a such a good deal.

Great knife for under $15
I may upload pics later, but this is a nice "boyscout" pocket knife. I say that because this is the type of knife so many of us grew up with in the 60s. Nonlocking blades, knife, smaller pen knife/hole punch, bottle opener, can opener. The knives arrived very sharp indeed, with no need to further sharpen them. It looks very nice and was packaged in an oversized tin, unnecessary but looked nice. I did notice some very VERY minor imperfections where the shackle attaches to the bolster. But honestly, I look back on my old knives from 50 years ago and they had imperfections as well. Yes, it was made in China, if you're wondering. I thought it was made in the US (Boker USA), but arrived with the "made in China" sticker, which is why I dinged them and took away the 5th star. This will go to my son and I'll probably get a couple others at some point to leave on the boat, car, etc. A good size for the pocket. I'd pay double if it were made in the USA.

Very well made and good value
Very nice knife, I really love scout style knives and this one is really well constructed and a good size for every day carry. The bottle opener/screwdriver and can opener are slightly smaller than most other scout knives I have handled but this makes it much more comfortable in the hand. As a heads up the description on Amazon said the steel is 440c, but the knife is actually 440a. Blade has a nice hollow grind to it that makes it a super slicer and razor sharp. It is definitely a keeper

This knife is 440A a substandered blade.Dont wast your time.
This knife is not 440C but 440A Steel, it's a substandard little knife and a SAK is a way better deal. I am not happy with this purchase. I don't like to use 440a as I believe it's an inferior Steel. I would have preferred that it had been 440c even if I had to pay more. In my opinion don't waste your time on this knife you will not be happy with it. Amazon should change the description to say that this is a 440a steel blade as this is false advertising.Up date: 05/2020- Amazon still says that this is 440c it's not it's 440 a please be aware of this when you make your purchase. And I still stand with my original review this is a substandard knife.

You get what you pay for.
I knew I was taking a chance when I bought this knife, so I cannot complain too much. First the plus, the blade comes sharp. It only took a couple of strokes on my ceramic sharpener to get it where I like my blades to be. Second, once you get all the packing grease off it, it looks pretty good. But there are some serious flaws too. One, the blade is thin, thinner than my Opinel #9 and that's pretty thin. Two, there is no snap when opening or shutting the different tools. And three, I am wondering how long this knife will last if I take it on a few hikes. I use my knives as my go to is a SAK. And although I do have an assortment of knives I use my EDC just about every day for some type of chore. So I will hold off making a final judgment until I have carried it for a couple of months. Is it worth the $20 that I paid for it? My advise is, unless you are nostalgic and only want one of these knives because you grew up with one I would say spend the extra $15 and buy a Victorinox SAK.

Super Buy!
I was looking for a good old fashioned, multi-blade pocket knife and I received exactly what I was looking for, and then some. For only $17.00 this knife is a super buy. The knife is very well finished with the looks of a much more expensive pocket knife. The blades all open without difficulty and all the components (grips, springs, pins, blades) have an outstanding fit and finish. I have found no flaws or defects as sited by other buyers, and I am well satisfied with this purchase. The blade IS stamped 440A as stated by one buyer, but I'm not going to quivel about a mis-stamp or the quality of the steel...it's a $17.00 knife. If I loose it, oh well. I would not hesitate to buy another.
