Yes, it is made of hard plastic. I don't doubt that it broke but that should not have happened. If it were a purchase on AMZ you should return it for a new one or your money back. That is unacceptable. JPL

Yes, my kit came with a two pin and "claw" type attachment. Both can be stored in the handle after you remove them from the packaging.

can this wrench be used on Ecco q-lok spikes

I don't see why not. Do your spikes have the two pin holes for the wrench to grab? That's how this tool would tighten, the ripper is for removal.
