Nice welding mask
Worth the buy. I've used Jackson and Miller for most of my life. Like both brands of hoods. This does as it says, it helps a lot in tighter spots. Once you get the band adjustment set for yourself it fits really nice. Some complain about the band, remember its a wearable part & will wear down after time, be expectant to replace just like anything else.

Best lightweight I’ve used
Ok so I have tried several of these, starting with the yes wielding cheapie version. This thing is superb for the price and function. Light weight, easy to use and common the face. I’d absolutely recommend this for the weekend welder/hobbyist. Now this isn’t a replacement for a full face helmet, keep that in mind. But this has served me flawlessly this far on my classic car project. The canvas welding hoodie is to big and hot for me to wear, so use a skull cap and weld away.Only negative is it should come with extra screen protector.

JACKSON REBEL Needs Serious Upgrade
I own 3 Jackson helmets, W70 Truesight II, W60 Nexgen, and one of the original Nexgen USA models. Plus I have several of the latest 3m Helmets. The Jackson Rebel is a terrible product all the way around. I get it and as soon as I adjust headband it breaks off, cheap plastic. So I put a zip tie on the headband mount and try to set the shade, you can barely see the numbers to set it under shop lighting. The nose area sucks, its pointed, rides high and uncomfortable. Now onto the lens, at first arc strike shade 11 its very clear, love the color and clarity, am starting to see some promise. I have my tig amps at about 200 on aluminum, I crank the pedal, start my bead and turn my eyes slightly, the lens towards the edges are maybe a shade 5! So as long as you stare straight ahead in the lens you are fine. How do you make a lens that has inconsistent shading when its only 3.5 x 1.25 big? Oh and the last thing the gasket does seal around your face, big gaps on the side. Maybe I just got a bad one, but for all these problems I would say JACKSON SAFETY/SureWerx needs to pull this from their product line and go back to the drawing board. The face mask is really close to your face, but could get a 3m mask under it, but then it fogs the lens....my readers fit somewhat ok. Its actually more comfortable with the 3m mask on then without because it pushes the welding mask off your face, the down side is then the only part of the gasket touching is the top of your forehead. I am trying to find some good points but I don't think there is any. Sending it back and will try another brand. I won't be buying anymore JACKSON products.

Nice but fragile
Had the hood for two months loved it till I knocked it of a 6 foot ladder and shatter the lens

Great lill weld mask
I've put close to 24hrs of hood time on this lill weld mask so far. Great clarity while welding or while just viewing through lens. Fits snug on face and comfortably light weight. Highly recommend wearing a cap or beanie while welding for long periods to cover your forehead. I wouldn't recommend this over a regular weld hood if your a full timer. But it's gets you by for hobby welding or tight spaces and packs easy under the seat of the truck or in a bag or tool box for last minute jobs on the go. Great lill mask for the price.
