Justice League Dark the New 52 Omnibus

Shopping online can be dangerous due to damage suffered during delivery. However this book was emasculate, not a grease to be found. A brand new, factory sealed edition of one of the more interesting omnibus collections put out by DC Comics in recent years.

Outstanding art and plenty of action

Took them long enough to make this I mean come on this along with Geoff Johns Justice League is the only stuff that should've got the Omnibus treatment along with Earth 2 by James Robinson which still has yet to get it but still hope sometime. Series is great, characters were all awesome and engaging plus the story was just plan awesome.

Awesome storytelling. Loved seeing the characters, art was epic. Highly recommended. Read from cover to cover. Only issue I had was the box it came in was damaged.

This came out during one of my favorite moments in comic book history, when DC Comics decided to take a totally different and much needed path. Guys like Snyder were on Batman, and we had incredibly spin offs like Swamp Thing, Animal Man, and so many other great stories. In the midst of all of that epic storytelling and exciting new storylines came Justice League Dark, and it was probably my favorite arch of the entire New 52. Yes, we had some of the greatest Batman stories ever told, an outstanding Red Hood arch, and Animal Man seemed unstoppable, and so many others, but this was one of the best, and I must say, Lemire was especially good. This is the arch that made me a huge Jeff Lemire fan. This is absolutely worth your time! Read it!

Pretty good read. Never knew much about the magical side of DC. Know a few characters by name, recognize Zatanna from the Justice League Unlimited animated series, and saw Constantine with Keanu Reeves.This was a fun read, however it does kinda drag on towards the end. When back to back events are "world ending" then that kinda loses its meaning.Have seen Constantine in a few DC animated movies. Thought he was cool. However the more you read, the bigger of an @$$ he becomes. And it seems like he's smarter than everyone, but actually he's just a self centered sociopath. Always saw him as an anti-hero, but now I see him as an annoying douche. Zatanna is cool, always thought her backwards magic was pretty clever. Was fun learning more about Nightmare Nurse. Wish they had focused more on her.

This is an awesome omnibus! Justice League Dark is fun with great artwork making it hard to put down. This fun team with some well known & not so well known characters look to fight the darker forces in the DC universe. DC has gotten a lot better putting together their omnibi. There’s table contents along with page numbers, material is in perfect reading order & the book has a big eye. Which is needed since it’s a huge book. I highly recommend.

This a great series especially in comic continuity if you want to learn about the best magical superheroes there is to date, my only problem I had with this purchase is Amazon's packing, I had a small dent in the top corner of the book, Amazon has to pack better

Très bonne bande dessinée.

Bei der Besetzung (Constantine, Zatanna, Deadman usw.) kann man fast keine klassische Superhelden Story erwarten. Bekommt man auch nicht. Es geht um Magie, um Mystisches, um Wunder, teils auch andere Welten bzw. Zeiten. Die Abenteuer sind sehr gut, eine Geschichte umfasst immer mehrere hundert Seiten. Darüberhinaus gibt es einen roten Faden von Seite Eins bis zum Schluss, so zirka Seite 1500!Leider muss man einige hundert Seiten überblättern, wenn man bereits Justice League - the new 52 Omnibus gelesen hat, die Storyline ist doppelt abgedruckt...Besonders gelungen ist der Charakter von John Constantine. Der schwule Alkoholiker von Garth Ennis hat mir nicht gefallen. In diesem Omnibus ist Constantine in erster Linie cool und hat ein Auge auf Zatanna geworfen. Mir persönlich wesentlich sympatischer.Zuletzt noch die Zeichnungen: sind allesamt hochwertig und gelungen. Minimal merkt man, dass sich verschiedene Künstler am Gesamtwerk zu schaffen gemacht haben, aber alles ist gut miteinander abgestimmt.

Goed verhaal en mooie art, voor €85,- gekocht het echt waard.

If you enjoy a solid storyline this is the book for you. JL Dark is an amazing adventure throughout the DC universe.
