USE IT RELIGIOUSLY..
I WOULDN'T START THE HEATING SEASON WITHOUT A GALLON NEXT TO THE FURNACE ...IT SAVED MY BUTT WITH A BAD CASE OF GLAZED CREOSOTE BUILD UP...IT TURNED THE CHIMNEY BUILD UP INTO A DULL CRUNCHY BRITTLE FLAKE OVER A COUPLE WEEKS OF DAILY USE .USE A CHIMNEY BRUSH SEVERAL TIMES A SEASON ! MY MOTHER HAD 2 VERY COSTLY CHIMNEY FIRES BECAUSE OF MY KNOW IT ALL SIBLINGS.... GET IT ! USE IT ! DAILY SPRAY IT ON YOUR SLOW FIRE FIRE ,THEN BURN IT HOT FOR A WHILE TO ACTIVATE IT........ NO PROBLEMS.

This stuff works!
I’ve tried many different products this beats them all. Used for wood stove with stainless liner with 5 cords of wood burnt over season . Liner was easy to clean each time.

Best creosote remover
Only thing that really works for my chimney. Use my woodstove routinely in cold weather.

IT DOES REMOVE THE GLAZE
Edit : 11-16-2021 for some reason Amazon only put up 4.5 stars and I gave it 5I heat 95% with wood . I use a wood furnace . In 2018 I bough the Creosote remover . Used it some off and and on . Noticed in like 2019 that some of the glaze in the fire tile chimney was starting to go away not much but some ... and the build up was not think . Like a good coat of hi gloss black paint .This last season - 2020- 2021 winter . I used more of it . - I think about 3/4 a gallon for the season. I put it directly on the hot coals or on the hot fire brick and it steams as soon as I shoot it on . I use a spray bottle . I just cleaned the chimney yesterday . Had to get on the roof and so I looked down the chimney . 95% of that glaze IS GONE I mean GONE . I can see more of the tile liner now that I have for a decade . I live in the house I grew up in . Built in 68 . Did did not heat with much wood BUT there was some used over the years so do the math .Another thing .. this year when I ran the brush up the flue .... I didn't seem to notice as much ashes falling as the other years and I burned just as much last year as I have in the past .I think using more of the Creosote liquid that the chimney ash drys and breaks off and falls .. don't know didn't look in the chimney before I ran the brush .For me the 50 bucks a year for a gallon is good insurance .ThanksI highly recommend this stuff

Does help reduce the cresote build up
I'd used the creosote "sticks", "logs", and Rutland creosote remover in the past with fair success. I've always cleaned the woodstove flue monthly as minimum during heating season; but some areas of the flue tend to build up faster than others. Mainly on the MagicHeat tubes and the last few inches at top of the flue. I'd noticed that at least some of the chemical products usually fell through the grate and into the ash which made me wonder if I was wasting the product. So, when saw this liquid product that I simply sprayed into the fire, I figured it was worth a shot.Gallon jug arrived in simple box with strip of tape over the cap to ensure it didn't loosen during shipment. Good idea. I used a typical cleaning spray bottle and filled with the anti creo soot product. I usually spray 6-10 times after loading in fresh wood. I had noticed a fairly heavy build up of creosote on the stove doors so treated them pretty heavily for first 2-3 weeks. I have seen much of that creosote has flaked away now and the buildup at top of the flue scrapes away with less effort than before. I'm still not sure off the improvement with the MagicHeat as best technique with it is a quick fire with newspaper or cereal box cardboard that flames around the tubes. So, I do believe it has helped reduce the creosote buildup and does appear to be helping with routine flue cleanings. The gallon jug lasts me through about half the heating season so it's not as economical a treatment as I'd like; but I'll continue using it for the personal satisfaction that the flue is safer.
