I am well and truly pleased with the E10C buds. For the price I don't know if you can find another with this much quality sound and construction. I opted for the E10C instead of the E11 due to price and slightly extended dynamic range. I am very please with my purchase and use these buds every day to listen to my hi-res streaming feed. I did upgrade them with a pair of SpinFit W1 ear tips which really put the listening experience over the top.

The SoundMagic E10C is a great little earbud with pretty good sound and clarity! I had lot of trouble with microphonics with some of the cheaper earbuds I tried like Monoprice, but this one is superb and I dont hear any rustling, thumping, etc when the cable rubs against my shirt. The M ear tips were a bit large for me but the S fit perfectly! I like that compared to some of the other earphones I have tried, the eartips do not slide out. Works for me :)Also, I mostly hear music at work through my work DELL laptop and sound is good. But must admit that the sound GREATLY opens up on my home desktop that has a good sound card. Initially I did doubt as it didnt sound that much better than my iPhone earbuds. Source definitely matters!I havent really tried any of the volume, etc buttons and used only once for receiving a phone call. Worked well enough, no complaints. Giving 4 stars as it is very good but not excellent for the 50 bucks I paid for it.

Sound good, but wish there was a way to adjust tone so I could have more bass. There was very little bass at first, but it is much better now that I have used it a few hours.

I bought these earphones as replacement for my e10. As always great value, quality and sound as well as a nice fit.It comes with a hard plastic-vinil with zipper case, several ear pieces depending of your personal size/preference and a computer connector accesory if needed.

I've used the E10 (no mic), E10S, older version which I lost, E10C newest version which I returned.The previous version (e10S) was better for me but I lost and replaced with the E10C's. First off, the sound is fantastic on all the E10 series, so if that's all you need then go for it. You can also save 10$ and get the version w\o a mic.Issues with the 10S. 1. why not have a straight headphone jack!? The angle causes it to unplug when sliding the phone into my pocket. 2. Instructions would be nice, ie, what is the adapter for and where did the switch go from the previous model? I didn't see any on line either. 3. The plug is a little different (the space between the connections on the plug is a little wider), for some reason this plug causes my phone to loose connection and auto pause when it wiggles, which is often if it's in your pocket. I can use the mysterious adapter and it seems to be ok, but this makes the form factor really awkward with this long plug now sticking out of the jack. This also causes strain on the headphone jack, and smart phone repairs aren't really an option. 4. If volume control almost never works on Android phones, why the heck put them on the phone? it makes the control/mic that much longer and heavier. Just silly marketing.If it ain't broke, don't fix it. The E10S was a better model. I'd have ordered a replacement 10S to my lost pair of 10S's by default, but since they are no longer made I'm stuck with red or gold, yuck. I may suck it up and go with a gold pair anyhow.

Just beautiful . A budget earphones that sounds phenomenal ! Great quality. Beautiful warm sound with excellent bass and treble. Hardbox case has all needed attachmentsAnd very fast shipping from Amazon. Highly recommended

Pros:Sound quality- decent soundstage, controlled bass, accurate highs and present mids. A fun and refreshing sound signature.Cord- doesn't tangle easily and the E10C version includes a functional volume control and play control button, plus a detachable cord adjustment piece.Accessories- comes with a nice hard case, shirt clip, various cord adaptersLooks- good cylindrical design made from strong aluminum (gunmetal finish looks very attractive).Cons: low quality silicon tips, weirdly angled 3.5mm jack.I prefer the Tin Hifi T2 at this price range for a detachable cable and better detail, but these are a good value.

First unit defective. Secind unit defective. Don't waste your time or money in this cheap headphones.The defect of the first unit was the mic didn't work woth my iphone. The second unit the up/down buttons don't work properly with mac. Sound quality is fine.
